Aldi & Lidl #7

That pineapple hot sauce sounds delicious! I like Heartbeat pineapple habanero hot sauce but it’s pretty expensive so will give this a go. If my local one even has it that is!

probably a stupid question but when specialbuys have the delayed tag on them in the Aldi leaflet, do they say when it's in store anywhere? or do I just go in more often to check 😅

This week Aldi had Memphis Style Sizzle steaks on the weekly offer - until stocks last. £5.29 for 4 steaks (they were £5.75 in my Aldi) and bought a pack and they were real good value for money for me who doesn't want a plate full of meat. I went back today and they were all gone but they had Louisian ones instead (staff told me the others sold out quick and they got these in).
If you don't like smokey, hot paprika flavour leave Louisian ones alone. I love it but my friend left hers on her plate after one fork full and said they were awful, hated the taste in her mouth and went for a drink of milk. (my lunch sandwich tomorrow - I am not proud :))
I now cook my steak in the airfryer but these didn't go well in it, I cooked the first one on my griddle pan as it said 4 mins and it was perfect but tried the next one in the AF and it was not good at all, bit tough and undercooked after 6 mins.

Has anyone tried this from Aldi’s special buys??

I think they said they provide updates on their website but I've never seen them. That happened with the foundation I was looking forward to and I don't think it ever appeared 🤔
that's annoying! I just saw a page for specialbuys delays and all the expected dates were TBC.. my aldi is already rubbish with beauty items so I won't get my hopes up ☹

I also have the karcher one and it’s honestly been invaluable over winters. Been living in a flat with no insulation and large, slanted velux windows. The temp regularly goes down to single figures indoors, difficult to rid the windows of heavy condensation without it running down the walls and onto the floor. Having the vacuum has made it infinitely easier to deal with. Seriously hoping I won’t be needing it so much in our next place though! 🤞

I have great insulation and a warm house and get mad condensation. Might consider a Karcher vacuum, I have one from home bargains which was ok but it sounds like a lawn mower now and not even had it that long

My husband picked up some Thai Green Curry crisps for me in Aldi a few weeks ago - I thought they sounded a bit weird (who wants lemongrass flavour on their crisps?) so only tried them a few days ago when I had nothing else. Wow, they were so good, absolutely packed with flavour and I can't stop thinking about them 😅 I'm cursing myself as of course they are long gone from the shelves now.

I found this with the garlic bread crisps only I was good & bought 'several' bags only to scoff them all too quickly.... none left now 😒
