I watched "Cheers Ears" after their link up with Adam... Christ! What a personality-less family, couldn't watch more than 5 minutes. But it confirmed that Disney vlogging is dead, regardless of whether you're an established vlogger or part timers, its the same regurgitated content, which is now far less relatable due to the much higher cost!

Disney is now out of the price range of most normal* families.

you are right, i have been travelling to orlando for over 30 years on a budget but its harder to do now. A 14 Day disney pass which most british holiday makers would buy is over £500 per person which is more than what i pay for the flights!
 
Interesting, Adam at the start is like a different person. Talking normally, so is he butching up/playing down for them or does he act up in his vlogs

I’ve just clicked on the Cheers Ears video.

On top of the fact that they are still the most boring family on YouTube, I scroll down to see this comment.

How bleeping boring must your life be for that to be one of the best days you’ve ever had?!

Predictions for this series:

- The travel day vlog will be ridiculously long whilst videos of the actual trip will get shorter as the series progresses.

- They will leave Disney and visit Hollywood (!!!) but only do the super cliche tourist stuff that all the locals avoid.

- Absolutely everything will unnecessarily be compared to the equivalent attraction/restaurant/whatever at Florida.

- There will be numerous out-of-focus shots but Adam still won’t spent £200 on a decent camera.

- Adam will obnoxiously sing over copyrighted music, ignoring the experiences of those around him by refusing to do the decent thing and mute the audio in the edit.
 
That was hell.

The out-of-focus shots are so bad that I’m getting a headache! 🙄🙄🙄

Gary C says that this will be his last trip to Disneyland as it’s too far for him, when the flight is about an hour longer than the one to Florida! 🙄🙄🙄

They are now rating their night’s sleep out of 5! 🙄🙄🙄

We were 25 minutes into the video before they left Britain! 🙄🙄🙄

Adam is trying to make out that £16.80 is a reasonable price to pay for Wi-Fi! 🙄🙄🙄

Adam said “let’s take a look at the route we’re taking today…” and clicked on the in-flight map, as if there are numerous ways to fly from London to LA! Did he expect a surprise detour over Peru? 🙄🙄🙄

The gasping when they entered an incredibly basic and dated hotel room! The carpet looked like it had been lifted from a 1980s cinema! 🙄🙄🙄

The endless walks around the shops to pad out the runtime! 🙄🙄🙄

Feck it - you have me hooked now with your comments. I'll have to watch later. So glad you can see the power move that asking for names is. I remember working a public facing job and anytime someone asked for my name they either were about to tear into me and demand compo or they were about to make me their lapdog by calling my name and passive aggressively saying how nice I was and would I mind doing X,Y,Z.

Shame Adam isn't being clearer about how he booked it as walt disney travel company UK don't offer disneyland california. So did he have to call to book? Or book via American site? Are tickets included then synced to the magic bands? Lacking any detail
 
I think what elevates Adam’s content is Gary C’s “humour” - even if it is through cringe rather than comedy.

Gary seemed to be going through the motions on this one so it was nowhere near as engaging.

I thought the comment about Little Mickey was interesting - I wonder if Adam outright told Gary not to bring it?

They were in the airport looking at Paddington Bear toys. Gary said something like “maybe this could be the new Little Mickey?” and Adam quickly said something like “No! There’s a reason he’s not here!” or something.

Very odd that Gary would make a whole Instagram for his Disney toy and then… not bring it to Disney.

Oh haha yeah I skipped a lot of that. Maybe Adam had to draw the line somewhere.

I don't actually think they like eachother all that much. It's much more a co-dependency, no one else in their lives situation

Honestly, stayed there in 2019 and it is extremely outdated. Not even a proper shower but a shower head in a bath with an old shower curtain. But there’s Mickey shapes everywhere and a light feature so it’s amazing to them? Doesn’t it cost like £600 a night? For him to say it’s the best hotel he’s been in and it costs that much is shocking to me. Last time I stayed at the Anaheim hotel instead and it was so much better and cheaper and just a short walk from the park


Anyway my highlights
-43 year old Gary looks at Adam in Pret ‘what’s fa-lar-ful’ (falafel)? That’s what happens when the only time you see food is your mums food shop or at Disney

-Lactose intolerant Gary has tea and cheese the night before a flight

-Camera work literally gave me motion sickness during the room tour.

-This might be Gary’s last trip - they say that every time.

- The constant childish behaviour; Gary has to sing every other word, need for attention and constantly make unfunny jokes. I’m late 30s and I don’t know anyone who acts like this. It’s really not normal and it’s so embarrassing. They can’t seem to function as normal adults because they don’t live in a normal adult world. Instead of interacting with coworkers they interact with YouTube comments and people in costumes.
