Also the addition of the meme ‘very mindful, very demure’ is meant to be ‘relating to the youths’ (insert ‘hello, fellow kids!’ Steve Busemi meme here) but it doesn’t fit the context at all so obviously was just shoehorned in. I feel so embarrassed just looking at it, and I’m sure his bulk middle aged women audience haven’t a scooby doo what he’s on about

You could be on to something. ☺ I am a middle aged woman and I guess I am part of the audience, in that I usually watch his vlogs. But I do not understand the post and no I have never heard ”very mindful, very demure” before now.

As an aside, whilst I would recognise Taylor Swift I thought to myself a little while ago (when the tour mania started) that I could not name any of her songs. Then I thought I will go and listen to some and I am sure I will recognise something. Nope. 😄

Haha no shade to middle aged women, I am extremely close to the bracket myself! I didn’t know what that meant either until someone mentioned it in a video I was watching, ironically of a woman around my age also not knowing what it meant haha.

The ‘very mindful, very demure’ quote from a trend going round is so wrong. There was a terrorist attack planned and you think the best way to comment on it all is with a Tik Tok trend?
You’re so right, it is something that shouldn’t be joked about, which is probably why it felt so shoehorned in at the end. But realistically he didn’t really need to stick his oar in at all, not sure what the point of the post was. Like because you went to one of her concerts you’re now intrinsically linked with Taylor Swift and she requires your pride/validation?

She says it herself, nearly half a million people went to see her in the London shows alone. Stop trying to make yourself special, you’re average. Just get over it and stop embarrassing everyone.

So it’s just kids jumping on a trend, and now arguing about who started it. Adam shows himself up even more by involving himself in this childish nonsense.

I’m 100% sure this will be just me because I’m a miserable bleeder, but there’s a thing Madam does on his vlogs that grinds my gears. When he gets on a Disney transport bus, or he’s at the gate presenting his wristband and the driver/cast member says (because they’re paid to) “Good morning, how are you” and Madam goes into full English language GCSE student oral exam mode to reply “Good morning I’m very well hanks, all the better for being here in the Magic Kingdom today!”. What a twat. You can tell the cast member’s thinking the same too. Just be normal and say hello, good morning back, smile and be nice without building your fucking part up.

Yeah I'm kind of with you on that. It's to show how lovely and friendly it is. But it can also hold up the line (if everyone did that) and having worked with the public and crowd control it's annoying when people try to be 'friends' (not just friendly) and don't just get on with what they're meant to be doing so the others can get through and you can get on with your job.

Ha. No I have noticed that too. And I have had the impression he thinks he has been recognised and is getting a very special hello at the gate.

I got the impression he does it because he thinks hes an insider/special (because he worked as a cast member once). So its like he wants to be seen to be super friendly with CMs because he knows what it's like to be one or something, or he wants to be seen as 'different' to normal people.

It's the second one. He thinks he is above everyone.

I agree, a lot of former cast member vloggers (e.g. jojos world) act like they are special or still one of the team when they are in the parks

Shouldn't that be “failed and bailed” cast member? Not exactly the shining example Disney would want to set for their employees is it? Sign up, get trained then screw it over because you think you’re going to be a big shot on YouTube.
