I was definitely thinking that about the female fans. And I was also just thinking about sub conscious bias, which in some ways is more damaging that blatant bias. The blatant stuff is easier to point out and challenge.
 
I think he feels entitled to a pass because he had such terrible teenage years. He didn’t have hot sex with a muscular stud when he was a teenager. HE HAS SUFFERED!!! The rest of us were apparently living in an orgy with not a care in the world. How could we understand his unique suffering 🙄
 
Plus I think sometimes gay men get a pass as there is this image of gay men not being harmful to women. And while that's true sexually, they can be just as misogynistic in other ways.

Is anyone on his patreon? Has he done any publicity for the book on there?

I find it incredible that a writer would abandon his creation within a week of release. It's the most critical time. Even more so as its summer, prime holiday read time

L&S Adventures too. If it's very long I guess there is more room for ads but I refuse to watch any of these feature length vlogs so I don't know if they are stuffed with ads.

That only works though if people click on the vlog to begin with, and then stick to the end without abandoning it halfway through… I still don’t believe it’s the best strategy for his style of content.

Oh I agree, but most of these vloggers aren't that bright, or that good at busines, or put much effort in at all.

That said, how many people on here say they put vlogs on in the background? A lot in my experience. So in those instances it doesn't matter. It's playing regardless and they're getting the revenue
 
I put vlogs on in the background, but not so far in the background that I don’t know when the ads are on 😅 so I still click through when I can. If I think somebody is being particularly greedy with their ads then I will switch off. Other than Mentour Pilot, I allow him his ad breaks even though they can be a bit annoying.

He puts them I'm the thumbnail because a) he fancies one/both of them. B) he thinks it makes him look popular, the fool. I mean they are not bad to look at is but they are as boorrriiiiinnnngggg as annoying is moooorrrnniiiinnngggg!
