Didn't someone here say he had sent a show reel to itv and other networks too a few years ago. The delusion is deep and real.

Yeah, i remember someone saying that.
He wanted to be a TV presenter. I kinda wish he was because the general public would not be kind about him. He is not likeable unless youre a young child or have one brain cell. Beyond irritating and immature.
 
In that old vid someone posted when he was on the CRP, even way back then he was lording it up over his colleagues. Taking the lead in everything, being the font of knowledge on everything. That’s what feeds his ego and that’s why we never see him travel anywhere else or even explore unfamiliar ports on the cruises. He can’t show off. Proper travellers want to learn, his entire schtick is to tell people how much he knows. It’s very egotistical and weak.

I'm less convinced he is funded by mum and dad, maybe a one off payment (e.g. inheritance), but his family never feature. Anywhere. Not his birthday, not his big book launch, none of his trips. I can't remember him ever mentioning them. Also, while we haven't seen his whole flat, everything in the background is always disney or gay YA themed. I can't remember ever seeing anything that looks like family photos.

He also clearly doesn't have friends outside the vlogging community and those who get something out of him.
 
Even that letter to himself at the end of his book. It basically said don't worry , life gets better, you go to Disney many times. No mention of friends, family, career, happiness. Just Disney. And he's gone there again.

He probably thinks being a famous tv presenter/author would fill the emptiness when it would only add to it. Even his self publishing charade didn't fulfill him because he had to run straight back to Disney.
 
Since 2011 when he started his channel, he has had around 37,200,000 views in that time (available on his 'about' section on his channel).

I've seen it across multiple vloggers in the travel niche that £7000 is about right for a million views. So £7000 x 37 = £250,000 over the lifetime of his channel approximately. Most of which probably came over the last 5 years. Not bad, but minus living expenses, taxes, his increase in luxury travel etc and he is living beyond his means.

Just having a look at the virgin credit card. You can only get one upgrade or companion voucher per year. You have to spend £20,000 or more in one 12 month period to earn one.

So even if Adam is spending 20k a year, he is only getting one upgrade voucher.

It's 10k on the fee carrying card which I'm guessing he'll have as it gives you more points as well per £ spent

If he was a normal person I would think this is the reason but the mind that dreamed up this scutter and thought it a masterpiece is not exactly all there and certainly doesn't shame easily!
 
Its possible, but I think he will feed off the super fans and just dismiss criticism as 'haters'.

The other option is it's just another thing ticked off the list and now he's done with it. Like a spoilt child with a toy, and like so many merch things he has done in the past. He has no commitment and no follow through
