he (and tk) would genuinely fit in so well on 911, bring them over! i can’t lost his beautiful face from my screen 😭

i did feel this was coming for lone star though. it had potential but it’s too centered on rob lowe and some of the storylines just go so ott.

i’m laughing that literally every reply to the tweets about this are some version of “bring carlos to la!” we are not alone 🙌🏻

i just checked and their last twitter update about it (on the disney+ uk account) was that it’s “coming soon” - i’m sure they had an actual date a few months ago! they will have filmed the next series before we actually get this one 🤣

oh and some oliver content while i’m here 🥵

Oh for goodness sake! Disney plus are so bad at adding American stuff in line with America.

agreed, they seem to get some stuff so fast (the bear as an example) but then other series just take forever. you’d think it would be easier given that disney own the network it’s on! it makes it so hard to avoid getting the whole thing spoiled too.

I started watching this recently after all the hype with the Buck storyline and I've grown very fond of it. It's just a really easy to watch feel good show with nice characters and a strong, likable cast. I'm nearly at the end of season two so I am way, way behind but I'll catch up.

The fandom scares me though. Those Buddie shippers are, um... a lot.

Yeah I agree on all of that. Don't worry, we are generally against buddie here (although we would 100% still watch lol)

I usually don't like these emergency service procedurals but love 911

the shippers ARE a lot 🤣 my feelings on buddie are complicated but i think it’s entirely one-sided from buck’s pov personally. i would happily watch it play out though!

it’s definitely a comfort show for me too; every character is likeable to me (and easy on the eye to be fair) and i care deeply about all of them. you’ve got a lot to cover in the next few seasons, hope you enjoy it all! come back and tell us about it :)
 
Once you've caught up with 911, give 911 lone star a go. It isn't as good, and is a bit laughably ott at times. But it does also have very likeable characters, plus the hotness that is Carlos haha

i feel like lone star had/has so much potential but the focus on owen just kills it imo. i roll my eyes every time he appears to save the day or keeps bringing up the men he lost and such. they could move so many of those characters to the original though and i feel like they would fit in so well.

Yeah I find owen a very cringe unrealistic character. Like his obsession with moisturiser and being a modern man. It's like they have a check list of what they want a modern middle aged man to be, but didn't create a fully rounded character

exactly! he honestly spoils the show at points (that scene where tk is trying to talk to him about how he was never around when he was a kid and owen just gives a whole soliloquy about 9/11 being one). it thrives when he isn’t around but i wonder if rob lowe has something in his contract about that 🤣 he would be okay in small doses!

starting my bring tk, carlos and marjan to 911 petition now.

ikr! i think it was probably meant as being proud of himself for what he’s achieved, but writing yourself a birthday message is always a risky business 🤣 as is describing yourself as thinking you’re “good at lying”!

i think we’re so used to our faves being other versions of their roles that it surprised me that he’s so different from carlos (i know that sounds weird but i can’t think how else to explain it 🤣)
