90’s TV

OMG i loved Eldorado..i used to race home from work to watch it! My husband reckons i was the only person who actually watched it !
i got brit box recently and its on there so gonna start re watching it
Some friends and I used to watch it too. It was so bad it was good. Bunny used to be in the kids TV programme Rainbow and his girlfriend was drippy. Quite liked the character played by Polly Perkins though.

I used to love her brother Tony in Blossom ❤️😍

Oooh I loved the worst witch!
Out of the box on Disney was so good too!

I loved so many but unsure if they're 90's or early 2000s
This is my programmes so I'd say a bit of both? I loved ootb no one remembers it,then pb&j otter after.the snorks, the raccoons, oaky doke, spider in the bath.o take me back to when tv was better.

I used to like channel 4 on a Sunday too I think it was Harry and kosh then the tribe but maybe that was on 5? Hollyoaks omnibus and the islands one where they put groups on 2 smal islands next to each other

omg I loved pb&j!😂 I was always Disney or sometimes nick back when the Amanda show was on!! Early Disney channel was so good

The Beauty and The Beast tv show with Linda Hamilton? I absolutely loved that.
So did I, that was quite a good family show, I also enjoyed "touched by an Angel".

Back in the late 80's Star Trek TNG kicked off much to my delight, ran till 1994 and
what made things better were DS9 and Voyager. There were plenty of other shows
during the 90's which were fantastic, many already listed.

Aww love these suggestions! It was great when there were only 4 channels because everybody had no choice but to watch the same things, so everybody could talk about it. I remember Crystal Maze used to be on on Thursday nights, and Friday playtime at school was spent pretending to re-enact some of the games.

Although it’s convenient I really hate Netflix and the like for making this less possible. The last big show I can think of like that that had people talking about it the next day was Game of Thrones and that’s because it was shown weekly on the same day worldwide and not have all the episodes shoved online for people to watch at different paces

I still know the song and hand movements to the Out of The Box “so long, farewell, to you my friend” LOL.

The island show was called Shipwrecked with two rival islands called Shark Island and Tiger Island. I watched a few series but for some reason only really got into one, the rest I stopped watching

Does anyone remember Through the Dragons Eye?

Does anyone remember Sing Me a Story with Belle?

I also watched
Sabrina (obvs!)
The Shiney Show
Rolie Polie Olie
House of Mouse
Bear in the Big Blue House
The Worst Witch (was this 90s?)

Anyone remember Trevor and Simon from Live and Kicking - swing your pants
yes 🤣

I'm old so it was back from the pub to absorb snooze in front of The Word followed by the best and most underrated Vietnam series ever - Tour Of Duty.
im old too lol ! Fri nights back from pub rhe word, possibly eurotrash - great times..i also loved Tour of Duty too ..it should have been on at prime time rather than stuck in the late night/ early hours wilderness

Brookside! - I was a huge fan. I actually think my sister had the specials on video. Remember the helicopter crashing into the petrol station, the bomb in the spa/gum/club, the hostage situation which saw jennifer Ellison jump out the window.

Footballer's Wives & Bad Girls were two other firm faves.

Also on a Saturday night, Don't try this at Home with Davina Mccall.

Ooh I’ve just thought of another one, although it may be 00’s actually, but does anyone remember Cilla Black’s Moment Of Truth where a family went on each week to win dream prizes and one adult member of the family were given a week to learn a really difficult task and then had to successfully do it live in the studio with the audience watching? I used to love that!

Wow we had some great telly... This thread is making me remember some right gems!

The queens nose
The samiad thing (it use to shuffle up from the ground.. I cannot remember the programme)
Byker Grove
Neighbours
The quiz/variety shows on a Saturday night

Loved round the twist and Sabrina the teenage witch and live and kicking!

Keenan and kel
Sister sister... I'm not sure if I'm still in the 90s haha

I think there was a show called sunset high too that I used to watch

Without meaning to sound like my dad.... They don't make em like they used too!

Edited to add... It was heartbreak high! And now I want to binge watch it :)

I was totally hooked on This Life while everyone I knew was watching friends.
