90’s TV

Eerie Indiana was great. Dont think they made many Series of it if I recall
My favourite episode was the boy who died and gave his girlfriend a necklace. And when she was getting closer to the main character the necklace would 'beat' because he'd captured his heart in the necklace or something???

I LOVED sweet valley high! (I even read the books, basically mills & boons for teenagers 😆)
Sweet valley high, sweet valley twins, and when you were a bit older.... Sweet valley university 🤣

And does everyone know The Sixth Sense is based on an episode of Are You afraid of the Dark? M Night Shamalan (? sorry!) admitted it inspired him.

I still love some of the comedies from the 90',s in particular One foot in the grave and Keeping up Appearances.
Keeping Up Appearances has stood the test of time I think. I caught it the other day, laughed my head off. Patricia Routledge was brilliant in it.

Used to love OFITG, Victor was hilarious. My fave episode was when Angus Deayton's character and his wife book into a hotel. He leaves their room to get ice, and his wife is getting into her fancy undies, touching up her make up etc.

On the way back to his room, another guest grabs Angus' character and tells him he's going the wrong way and drags him into a bedroom, which has a two-way mirror and a crowd all gathered round it watching his wife. 🙈🤣

Aww love these suggestions! It was great when there were only 4 channels because everybody had no choice but to watch the same things, so everybody could talk about it. I remember Crystal Maze used to be on on Thursday nights, and Friday playtime at school was spent pretending to re-enact some of the games.

For those who want a stroll down memory lane remembering 90’s tv
I’m currently rewatching Eldorado, because it’s fun and I’ve got nothing better to do 😁
OMG i loved Eldorado..i used to race home from work to watch it! My husband reckons i was the only person who actually watched it !

This is my favourite ever scene from OFITG. "4291" Never fails to make me laugh 😂

So many good ones have been mentioned already! I used to love Baywatch, I rewatched it recently and its still great. Comedy Central show it on monday nights too. The Golden Girls, Happy Days, Married With Children. Spooky shows of course were X Files, American Gothic, Outer Limits and Twin Peaks. Anyone remember The Beauty and The Beast tv show with Linda Hamilton? I absolutely loved that.

It has 8m-10m viewers at the time, which was Round the same as EastEnders. The media critics panned it, but it was obviously enjoyed by the viewers. 😊

Hang on. It's on Britbox?? I've been watching shoddy VHS recordings on YouTube!
