I couldn't believe it in one of the latest vlogs when Alfie was suggesting eating some leftover pesto pasta with vegetables or cooking a Hello Fresh tea, and Zoe was totally disinterested and wanted an M&S ready meal instead, then eventually settling on super noodles because she'd be asleep by the time he put the pie in the oven. I've always thought it was weird that they eat separate teas but this took it to a whole new level, especially now they have a toddler who also could eat with them. Her insides must be sooooo unhealthy.
And how did she grow such a healthy baby whilst pregnant!? Nutrition is so key and it seems so unfair 🤣

Also, I'm surprised Ottie doesn't go to nursery or play group or anything with children her own age. Or is she too young for those? I'm not a parent, so unsure on what age things happen

Is their lifestyle 99% funded by Zoe and what she's built? I wonder if Alfie just goes along with her uneventful, sloth-like way of living because he knows she's the breadwinner, not him.
I think on bank statements Zoe will have more money but in assets I think Alfie will be better off. He’s a materialistic pleb but he does invest his money in things behind the scenes. Zoe could be too but I doubt she puts as much effort in to it.

since she wanted a 6-8yr old child so badly they could have adopted but guess the centere wouldnt have allowed her to put the child online (rightfully so)

also I need an apology of the person questioning me when I said there is possibly gonna be 15-17 vlogs. and see we are already so far into vlogmas lol. granted it exposed some questiionable things about her as a mother.

nothing will top her showing ottie far far away in a highchair eating dinner by herself.
or the fact that none of them bothered to dress her.
or she trying to bake with 1 yr old with a condescending tone.
or- the fact that preparing the table and christmas dinner essentials is taking her half a day.

Did anyone notice in the baking video. Ottie shouted for Dada and she said " nothing new there then". She looked fuming. That's because Ottie feels uncomfortable around Zoe. She couldn't get away quick enough. Very surreal.

She is well aware that she's not the favourite parent. She tries to laugh it off, but sometimes it really gets to her.

Quite understandably, I'd say, I doubt it's a nice feeling, especially since she probably sees herself as the stay-at-home "main parent" (since Alfie does go to town to the office maybe once a week - from Zoe's point of view, that's probably working incredibly hard).

But it's not going to change if she continues treating Ottie as a "mini-me" instead of a separate person, a toddler, who does not share interests with her, a thirty year old. Why on earth did she think a one year old would be interested in "baking"???

correct me if i am wrong but its usually normal per se for the child to ask for the parent they see as often?
like usually the stay at home parent has to do everything - and be strict.. and the other parent shows up for a fun playtime lol

but granted theyre both at home... so ottie wanting alfie is just like others said- maybe cause he connected with her better than ottie with zoe.
anyways. just started watching the vlog. cant believe she didnt even bother removing her make up 🙄

edit: 4:25 did she just call her ott? 😭😂😂😂 ottie wasnt short enough for her

I’ve always despised Alfie and resent that Zoe’s behaviour made me vote for him.

I’m still catching up on here but wanted to mention that the vlog with Mark is the first time I can think of where Zoe has said that she loves Pay. She just has so much more of a maternal connection to Nala and other people’s children.

I’m not trying to start a debate on screen time or mom shame anyone here, as always I am talking strictly about what Zoe does as a parent, but Pay spends way too much time watching TV. It’s one thing to use the TV as a babysitter or to entertain your kids when you’re parenting alone or don’t have a lot of time, but these two are almost always home and have all the time in the world. They also have two on-call grandmothers and a possible nanny (I’ve always doubted this because they’re just SO cheap). They have endless resources and can keep Pay entertained in many ways, they don’t need to use screen time in the same way that normal parents do.

I’m also noticing that rather than using the TV to keep Pay settled for any length of time, it’s almost like they use it as her break from doing anything else as they would for themselves. It seems like they’re reinforcing down time, relaxing, and a sedentary lifestyle to a one year old who should be playing and learning. That’s the part that I take issue with. They’re trying to turn Pay into a lazy little mini-me of Zoe when they could give her so much more.

Totally agree it's like she's not let be active. Like putting on a few songs on YouTube or something for kids fair enough but a full movie for adults like the Grinch is just strange. Getting her to lie under a blanket watching it the poor child needs to be developing motor skills not just sitting still. It was really clear when nana was minding her and she had some lovely puzzles set up for ottie , ottie was so happy she's probably sick of watching TV and just sitting down

Zoe used to throw it in Alfie's face for years that Nala loved her more and now she's seeing what it's like with their actual daughter. If she didn't talk to her like she does and actually engaged with her in age appropriate ways maybe things would be different.

The comment about the hair was so weird and self-centred. I could understand if she said she can't wait for Ottie to have long hair so she can play with it and braid it, but she wants her kid to hurry up and grow up and do that to her?? Weird. Also seems like if she likes her hair played with so much Alfie could do that but as we know they barely touch.
