the quote on the mirror annoys me every time i see it!! not only is it sideways, but the spacing is super weird, like why is “looks lovely” on its own line??

Plus it defeats the purpose of a mirror! I understand she probably has a hundred other mirrors, but if your job is an “influencer” and you take full length selfies on a day to day basis, why would you cover up half of a floor-to-ceiling mirror with text??

For the most part I do like the interior design of the house, apart from a few of the more bizarre elements (that mirror being one of them). It certainly beats the characterless grey/white/silver/velvet hellscapes most influencers have. For me the issue is that they obviously hired an interior designer to do the whole house, so some rooms look like a furniture shop rather than a home - over-curated, if that makes sense? e.g. their dining room with the pink chairs and dark walls is fun and trendy, but it looks like something out of an interior design magazine and gives me restaurant vibes. It doesn't seem like a room that you'd want to spend a lot of time in.

Not that I imagine they care too much if things will look dated in a few years... I've no doubt they'll be spending hundreds of thousands in a few years to renovate the place again despite only moving in less than 10 years ago lol.
 
I’m still in shock she’s uploaded twice in two days. I don’t think she’s ever done this.

I also watched an old baking vlogmas video and remembered all those revolting big tracksuits she used to wear. Don’t get me wrong a lot of the pregnancy outfits have been horrifying but please God don’t let her go back to tracksuits when she’s had the baby.

I like this question. Thing I hate the most was that horrible geometric rug in the conservatory. Pleased to see the back of that but I also really dislike the new one she’s got. Thing I love most are all the original features. It’s a beautiful house.
 
Just opened this book and it has a ‘Zoella book club pick’ endorsement….. actually gives me the complete opposite feeling seeing that!! Doubt princess pea head has even read a book since she became pregnant - too much like hard work.

I'm honestly super impressed with whoever is running the @zalfiehome account. They obviously know their shit.

I hate that quote on the mirror. It's one of my favourite quotes from Roald Dahl, but Zoe is such a bully and a mean girl, that I really don't get why she wanted that quote in her house. Does she need to be reminded to be kind every day? If anything, she should have a mirror full of mean girl quotes. Something like....: "It's not my fault you're, like, in love with me or something!"

They're definitely dedicated. It's very easy to find all of those items though. All they have to do is screenshot the item and search it with Google Image Search.

Not shitting on that person's talent, no no, just sharing my mediocre detective skills with those who might need them 🕵🏽‍♀️✌🏻🙃

that navy couch they have against the window in the sitting room that they NEVER use seems so pointless and makes the room look very cramped-

the infamous geometric tiles in the bathroom would give me a migraine instantly and i also hate the copper coloured bathtub because copper is VERY 2016 at this stage (not inserting a screenshot to save you all from a migraine)

the garden furniture they have is very boring, they also added a picnic table which i find really ugly.
i quite like this part of their kitchen with all the plants and stuff-

i love the aga but i hate that it’s that bright red colour, i know that they have a recurring theme in the house where they have a pop of colour but i would personally tone it down.
others also mentioned their massive bed being in the centre of the room which makes no sense and looks awkward.
i like their dark dining room, the pink chairs are nice.
the heart wall art in their hallway is hideous and i’m pretty sure i read here that it was gifted and was very “spenny” for our teeny weeny wagamama.

Isnt the Aga orange? also the heart wall art was a gift from Alfie. TBH I hate all of their art work its crap. Yep I also dont like the copper bath tub in fact the en suite bathroom in their room is so much nicer but Alfie only uses that one.
 
Sorry if this has already been discussed but I was looking on the zalfiehome account and holy shit their cot is 748 pounds?? That's almost $1500 here in nz..... I'm pregnant atm and we're buying most things second-hand and have seen some gorgeous cots for like 100-200 bucks, including ones that can convert into toddle beds! I can't believe people pay $1500 that's insane 😆

Sigh. Never compare your life to these morons. They’re gifted everything, pay for nothing, appreciate little. You cannot keep up with them and to be honest, I wouldn’t want to. Their lives are vapid and we only see a small portion of what they want us to see. This is the era of buying second hand and I for one am embracing it fully.
