I've always lived in the UK and I've only ever met people who have inherited names as middle names, so I don't think it's that commonplace for a first name. Honestly in my experience it's only usually narcissistic celebrities using their own name + Junior on the end lol. I would have changed my name the first chance I got if I was given my parents name as my own. You have to share enough in life without not even having your own name :p

Ha, I'm from the UK and my granddad, dad, and brother all have the exact same name, so passing on names doesn't seem weird to be at all!
 
i wish she would bring back the dark short hair, she looks so much fresher here (vlogmas 2018). she thinks the horrific stennies make her look youthful but she looks so much younger here. i definitely think she’s a pretty girl but damn she has been lacking for the past 3 years

I’m so behind, just came back to see my title was picked! 😂 thank you so much, I rarely comment but I am a longggg time viewer of Zoe & Alfie (as a lot of us are, it seems!) and I’ve gotten so sick of them over the years. Zoe used to be my favorite creator to watch, then I noticed how tone deaf Alfie is, and of course that One Pound a Day video really put me off. But then I noticed Zoe is just as stuck up and privileged; I think I read comments on here pointing out that most things in their old house were placed carefully for sponsors, and all her “favorites” videos had affiliate links for everything. Obviously there were different “ad” and “gifted” rules back then so she was getting away with everything, but those comments sent me down a rabbit hole of looking through all her description boxes, then I found that Instagram account called “Zalfie Home” and felt genuinely sick at some of the prices lol. They have a shit ton of money and can do what they want, but their rise to fame and fortune was pure luck and it’s gross. I know this has all been said but I wanted to say hi and thank you all for being the smartest and funniest community.

p.s. whenever someone says SCHICKKKK INNIT 🔥 on this thread or Alfie’s, I genuinely cry tears of laughter. Carry on ❤️

Regarding Poppy- I doubt she picked Poppy as the name she gets called by. If parents choose a double/triple name they mostly arrange them by how well they flow. Prime example Lily should have called her daughter Luna Grey instead of Grey Luna. It just flows nicer. She could still call her Grey. And sometimes the baby comes out and you realise the name you had in mind just doesn’t fit somehow. Funny enough, but I know many people that go by their second name because it felt more natural for their parents when they actually met them.
I have never met someone that requested to be called by one of their other names later in life (and no one that actually changed their name- but you have to jump through millions of hoops and might not be successful anyway in my country).
Giving family names is not really common but it’s also nothing people raise their eyebrows at.

I personally really hated her bob. Especially the blonde bob, it made her look like a cartoon character. Although, I like her blonde if the shade and length is right.
My favourite hair she’s had is this one I think:

PS: She needs to bring these eyebrows back.

The brows and hair length here are so much better than what she has currently!! I really don’t understand her obsession with the ridiculously long extensions.
