Zoe Bee Beauty

That post on the 29th about anxiety. In her words "I suppose I had a mild form of acrophobia"

Pretty sure she means agoraphobia given the context, but I eyerolled so hard my eyes are probably never coming back out of my sockets. I've had agoraphobia; being afraid of leaving the house in a global pandemic is really not the same. God she pisses me off.
Anything to be the victim. Like when she posted she was worried she had breast cancer for a weekend, found the lump on a Friday, saw the doctor on a Monday and was told it was nothing to worry about.
a week later she posted calling it ‘her cancer scare’ mate....I wanted to nut her for that, especially considering the people she knows that have had breast cancer!!!

Anyone seen the story about ‘running a business and fear of being disliked’ something from Abraham Hicks apparently.
Why why whyyyyyyyyy does she care so much whether she is liked or disliked, she’s nearly bleeping 40 ffs, get a grip woman!

I’m sorry, I’m still trying to pick myself up off the floor since discovering her new product and the price tag. * mouth wide open * £46.99 for the beetox box.

My dislike towards this company has rapidly grown. I feel like she is the queen of rip off. And it frustrates me how many people are being sucked into this.

Apparently it took a year for her come up with designing the bowl, spoon and brush. So she says.

Well, from a 3 minute search I found the exact bowl and spoon is available on Alibaba for a pittance- simply send the factory your logo and good old China will manufacture it. Not sure I would call that ‘designing’ packaging but okay…

Apparently the head bands are ‘hand stitched’. They definitely are not stitched by hand. The logo on the head band is clearly machine embroidered.Just your standard mass bought head bands that have been personalised. Same principle for all of the packaging. All readily available from Chinese factories which advertise on Alibaba and Aliexpress. (I wonder how ethically they are produced by the way? 🤔 different topic…)

But what REALLY got to me is the bottle of oil in the box. It’s not a formulation she has created- she has made no effort to create a unique facial oil. It’s just plain jojoba oil on its own. She’s just purchased an oil in bulk and decanted it into bottles. But hey that’s okay because it sounds like she went to the mountains of Mexico to get this oil 😅🙈🙈
Quote from website- “pure jojoba oil sourced from the mountains of Mexico”. Dear lord 🙈.

All this for just shy of 50 quid.

Worst thing is… it looks like a complete copy of another small business (who has been doing these clay/oil mask sets for much longer and has actually created a unique oil formulation- not just poured jojoba into smaller bottles).
Zoe is even using the same packaging for the bottles and cream tubs.
I wonder if she’s seen what Zoe has done with these mask sets. Poor gal 😔

Wow.

This is exactly why I am wondering why so many people buy from her.

To be fair: If I spend 50 pounds on skin care I would think about what to spend it on and would most likely go to a trusted brand like Paula's Choice or Dermalogica etc instead of spending it at someone who is essentially producing products at home

She can’t create anything new, her cream formulations weren’t anything new, they were copied from the get go. This is a woman who has copied other peoples quotes, poetry and written work for absolute donkey’s years and tried passing them off as her own - narcissist’s ALWAYS do this and don’t give two shits about using other peoples ideas!
From the beginning she was using coconut oil, and if you haven’t ever heard of Lucy Bee, Lucy bee has been going longer than Zoe and started off creating the Lucy Bee coconut and I could put money on it she probably used that from the get go and then decided on calling herself Zoe Bee!!!

She doesn’t have an effing clue what she’s doing, from the outside that probably sounds like I don’t know what I’m talking about since she’s made so much money and has so many buying the products, but like Glitzy said a few posts up, she has just got really lucky, used some serious clever marketing tactics, she even came on tattle for a bit of market research (asking questions about why people like/dislike Hinch so much!) and then went in to the Malin Anderson thread and bashed her for no longer promoting her Zoe Bee creams, which was also another clever way of putting her name out there.
The countless newspaper articles....the constant posts for attention....
Every single person around her must see this tit show for what it is surely?
She’s an absolute fraud.

What is the name of the other company doing the sets? Are you allowed to post that here?

So glad that the admin *cough* PA 😂 knows exactly where all the ingredients in the creams come from 😂
...... I would hope that to be the case!! 🤣
What utter bollocks does ZB let her PA post!?!! Second hand embarrassment for Kim... 🥴

Malin has been gifted something for her psoriasis....(For her scalp from what I can make out) but I was thinking if she has psoriasis on her body...there’s no mention of using ZB creams which she is regularly gifted...perhaps Ma read here and thought it’s definitely not worth the shout out after ZB’s sulky pants tattle moment of calling her out on not advertising her products enough 🤣🙄https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www....Andersson-puts-radiant-display-underwear.html

Does anyone know why she is so inorganic for someone who on the surface seems very altruistic and honest? First time commenting on this thread after watching for a while. Fell into the hype of buying her creams which went mouldy after just a few months of use even though they can be used for 12 months after opening. How is her skincare approved when it has no preservatives but marked with a shelf life of 2 months? The cream was like spreading vaseline on my face on day 1 and on day 91 lmao - it did nothing for my skin which I should have realised because a formulation of 99% shea and 1% orange oil blended in a cake mixer was never going to deliver on the sweeping and ridiculous claims she used to make on her website like heal acne. It's so misleading how she deletes all the bad reviews so it looks like people only have good things to say about her ridiculously overpriced products. Such shady business practice. Anyone remember when she used to claim there was spf 15 in them because of a bit of zinc powder? hilarious. Her skincare tips infographics on her stories are always so outdated and clearly ripped off from dodgy facebook mom skincare pages. Definitely something that someone who believes that sunbathed crystals transfer energy into shea butter and gives you magical powers.

Finally really glad that there's a trust pilot for her brand that she has no control, so naturally the rate of 5* reviews is much lower than on her procured website. Does anyone know if all the 5* reviews are genuine? A lot of them seem to be of similar writing style with lots of ZB's fanquotes "miracle cream" "healed my psoriasis" etc etc and if you look closely a lot of the accounts have only ever posted one review and that's for the ZB page.

Wish I had the answers to many of these questions, but I guess we will never know.
One thing I do know though is any attention be it good or bad, she will thrive off.
Good attention will inflate her ego even further and bad attention let’s her play the victim card. This thread, believe it or not, she will be living for. There are too many posts on her stories pointing to the fact she reads here (I think we all are aware she does) there are also way too many smiling selfies of her which make me question does she get off on people talking about her (even in a negative light) or is she just trying to show herself as unbothered. Which we are all very aware of her being very bothered considering the amount of stories she posts with passive aggressive swipes to anyone who disagrees with the way she is and the things she does.
I know her to be a very messed up character that has managed to fool a lot of people and has many people enabling her behaviour, so unfortunately she will only get worse over time. Everyone she is surrounded by has at least at one point discredited her in her absence, or called her out to be a liar.
So anyone enabling her, does behind it all know what she is and how she works, but for some reason are willing to brush it all under the carpet.
ZB is literally living her life now thinking that she can get away with absolutely anything..this will eventually be her downfall.
I’ll leave this here and would advise anyone to give her absolutely no attention at all.
Let her continue to mask herself and play the martyr. Maybe one day she will donate to a charity and not feel the need to inform the enablers....

oh so by continuing this thread, we're giving her more attention = more satisfaction?
it's just so frustrating that if someone on instagram gives an honest experience that isn't good, the comments either get deleted or her minions get unleashed onto you. I hope her family and her staff are aware of the criticism, even if they are blindsided by her and have been taught to block them out too. She's always preaching to block any negativity - but negative reviews is likely honest feedback of people's experiences with the brand/product - she doesn't have to take it so personally! In that respect I do think she is quite child-like. Boasting about how many good reviews means nothing if you're constantly on the lookout to delete bad ones.
I wonder if she will have a downfall - annoying she has a customer base of gullible facebook moms deluded enough to hand over money for what is essentially just massively inflated shea butter. I won't be giving her any more attention!

In my honest opinion yes this thread will be something she can use to her advantage - something I realised recently, because even things that don’t paint her in the best light give her ammunition to use for a pat on the back, a there there and more smoke blown up her arse from anyone who is a long term enabler.
I’ve seen first hand how she approaches people and cries to them when anything is said about her, it’s made even bigger and dramatised to her advantage of course.

I find it difficult to understand anyone who feels sorry for her since she actively puts herself in to the firing line with things like the newspaper articles.
As for her downfall - I’d say most of the things she eventually gets caught out on (like the stealing/plagiarism of poetry and quotes claiming them to be her own) and the Malin Anderson saga, but I can imagine she had every excuse up her sleeve for things that were exposed, since she has learnt to play people so well it’s become second nature.
On a personal note, two years ago she barely had a single friend since she alienated everyone against her and threw childlike tantrums when things didn’t go her way (literally!) her mask kept slipping and people kept away from her, so it’s amazing what hiring a vulnerable old friend can do (Kim) who was desperate for extra money....
It’s all a facade, everything she puts out for all to see, trust me.

I wonder if she's already experiencing a down fall - a little while ago she lost 2 members of staff and I'm pretty sure they haven't been replaced.

Im sure she was doing better before she inflated inflated prices. People aren't stupid, I do believe most of her customers while purchase once and thats it (once they realise its not a miracle product)

Shea butter is great for the skin and can be bought really cheaply from African shops in the UK, her markup and profit are massive. I intend to get some shea butter and adding some of the ingredients that she adds-for myself , not to sell, I could probably make one of those pots of cream for less than £2.00

They have added ingredients list to the pots now, and I think the ingredients are on the website too. It’s a whole lot of Shea butter :)

Every product is anhydrous, meaning the formulator doesn’t need to understand how to emulsify the products. It’s why the creams are so heavy. They also don’t have a preservative system in them to reduce the chances of the product becoming contaminated (by the users fingers, most likely source) and growing potentially dangerous bacteria. I know she will say preservatives are not natural and that’s why- but there are many natural preservative systems readily available.

The creams are shockingly over priced for how basic the formulation is. I feel so very sorry for all the ladies who have been pulled into this :(. Although, at least a lot do report very positive improvements with the glorified Shea butter.

Also, the company is non compliant with the common criteria set out in EU regulations. You can’t make medical claims such as “this cream is to reduce acne or scarring”. The category of the product would need changing from cosmetic to a medicine before you can make those big medical claims.
I have made some Shea butter products previously, not to sell, for myself and friends and family. but I'm seriously thinking of opening an Etsy shop, it would run alongside my day job and any extra income would make life easier-please can you tell me what natural preservatives to use? thanks

It feels really wrong to even wish a down fall on anyone, I think it’s more about people just waking the f up to her, they’re enabling someone who is greedy for fame, fortune and wealth, she desperately seeks admiration and too many fall in to that trap and then get conned in to parting with their cash for something that isn’t worth the money.
she is building a future for her kids so I wouldn’t want it to fall apart based on that, I just hope for whatever reason she publicly made out that her 6yr old was some kind of child genius, doesn’t affect his future like it does for a lot of children of narcissists :(

Haha, no.

I write in the dating thread - she is married with two sons!

I never bought from her and don't really have a relationship with her, I guess that's why I don't have a lot of hard feelings.

The thing is:
I would love to have my own business to make me tons of dosh. So I was interested in reading how much money she made.
I am also interested in making my own beauty products (I gave some advice a few pages ago) - but never thought they would sell so well.

So to sum it up: I think she built herself a little empire, which is clever, but I wonder why she sells so much and how.

But as I said: it seems her products are too expensive and easy to make at home. (Look at the eye lash serum: 2 ingredients!)
I don't follow her insta and never bought from her so don't know her really. But from what you all say on her she seems dodgy.
I have made Shea Butter products previously but not to see, I have looked for advice and can't find it, please could you tell me where it is?
Thank you

Have you ever tried Nilotica shea butter? It's a slightly less common, but more luxurious product made from East African shea I believe. Most standard shea butter is grown and produced in West Africa and has a slightly different appearance and consistency. I believe that ZB has now started using both Nilotica and standard shea in her products (which is what I believe she means by "two varieties of shea" which is a quote she often uses - and about a year ago was trialling out "a newer, softer shea" which ended up being too soft so she ended up blending it with standard shea). ANYWAY if you can get your hands on that and literally just use it straight out of the container, it left my skin feeling better than ZB creams ever did from the first use! ZB has never revealed what the other shea is but I'm pretty certain it's Nilotica. Give it a go!

I also love making my own products, although I also buy loads and love to try out new things.

Before opening the Etsy shop you might want to check what the legal requirements for selling cosmetic products are, you might need to get a certificate for each product that you sell.

Never tried Nilotica shea butter, not sure if I could source that, where would be the best place to check out the legal requirements to sell?

Aye, nobody should wish downfalls on anyone.

I think you have hit the nail on the head.
Everyone in this thread just hate how she…

1. charges insane prices for basic (uneducated) formulations, which sit heavy on people’s skin

2.is so fake she deletes truthful negative/critical reviews from customers, which is so deceitful and completely unfair on her customers

3.makes wild claims about her products, while previously not adhering to cosmetic regulations

4. threatens anyone who makes their own Shea based products.

and

5. Copies

It’s her Fake eyelashes and Fake nails that make me laugh out loud though 😂 while she’s such a lover of all natural 🤣🤣
