Part of me thinks if Sam does well on I’m a celeb she will cling onto him even harder for the fame/ attention it brings then the other half of me thinks she would be sooooo enraged with jealousy as she didn’t take off on strictly like hoped that she would pie him off 🤣

I actually really like Sam as he is open he wants the work etc to build on his fame and his podcast is hilarious with Pete . But I just wish he didn’t put up with ‘oh I don’t want the attention, whoops I’m on strictly and got my boobs out Zara!’

Listening to Sam and Petes podcast today and they're discussing him going on IAC and how Pete is going across to Aus as his "friends and family" person.

Cynical me is wondering if he's picked Pete because all the leaving photos coming back over the bridge follow IAC celebrities for whatever they do afterwards, it won't matter if he and Zara split up because the photos will just be him and Pete 🙄

I know there's the argument Zara has been in strictly and might not have been available, but she's been out for a couple of weeks so surely if he wanted to change the person SO much it could surely have been done.

That being said I'd have loved to have seen Sam and Pete in the jungle together.

Maybe they had to say ages ago who they’d pick for flights, plans etc and he couldn’t say Zara in case she was still in Strictly

I enjoyed how her story said something along the lines of “dream fulfilled coming to Blackpool for Strictly” so I reckon she begged an invite just to be able to bend the truth in the future and say she made it to Blackpool when she competed. We all know Zara’s prone to a bit of stretching the truth…

Am new to this thread, but thought I'd throw in my two cents worth😅

I'm not a Zara fan but I've just been watching her latest documentary 'Gaia: A death on Dancing Ledge' and was impressed by her execution of the whole thing. It's clear she put a lot of hard work and effort into the documentary, much like her one on revenge porn. Okay, so there are certain aspects about Zara being a BBC reporter I find quite problematic. The obvious one being she's not a trained journalist and the fact there are likely hundreds of journos who would absolutely kill for the opportunity to front such hard-hitting projects. But then we know why she's been chosen to front these docs: she's hugely popular among young audiences and will pull in the viewing figures.

The second niggle I had is her constant attempting to speak in RP English. I found it really jarring, distracting and authentic at all. I don't get why Zara feels the need to play up to the posh accent just because of who her boyfriend is. Especially with the likes of Stacey Dooley, who has been flying the flag for non-RP reporting for years. It's a shame Zara feels the need to change such a fundamental aspect of her identity to fit the Sloaney mould.

Third and final thought: how all this Zara success must eat away at Louise Thompson🥲Just scrolling through her Insta page, she's achieved some really impressive accolades in the past year, from her documentaries to Strictly and visiting No. 10. If I were Louise I would probably feel woefully inadequate. Literally, her professional identity seems to revolve around her never-ending roster of health woes and pandering for attention via her son's traumatic birth. I haven't been keeping tabs on this thread, or the Louise one, but I'm curious to know what the dynamic is like between her and Zara (gauging by their social media interactions)? I'm still surprised that Louise ever managed to forgive Zara for her affair 🥴
