I think most people found it super manipulative at the time, regardless of gender. I know I certainly did.

I recall seeing her posts on Instagram and Louise had commented on one so then twitter (I think it must have been as I wasn't on tattle at the time) seeing posts "oh Louise has commented so Sam must be forgiving her" kind of thing and I remember just thinking it was creepy and out of order and that she wasn't giving him the chance to process his feelings privately before forcing him to publicly forgive her.

Pete talks about it on their podcast where he's like "I didn't trust her for ages after that" and I remember thinking "good I'm glad not everyone swept it under the carpet".

Pete’s not stupid. I doubt he trusts her even now.

What’s so weird about this post/this Instagram in general is that it’s really well written and funny, like someone smart wrote it, but it’s got really basic grammar/spelling errors (no apostrophes, Dad/dad inconsistencies). I don’t reckon Zara’s smart enough to write this, I reckon it’s mainly Sam who writes it and she’s the scribe 😂

I'll call it now: I find Zara infinitely more bearable than pretty much every tw4t on MiC. Okay, so she has her foibles (the fake accent, the cheating scandal and BBC documentary career forged entirely un-meritocratically) but I'll take her any day over the likes of Habbs, Ruby, Emily and Melissa. She's not perfect but hell, she has to put up with Louise and blockhead Ryan as in-laws and neighbours. That alone deserves a f*cking trophy🏆
