She destroyed those pork steaks, Ive bought those before and no way did ours resemble old shoe leather,in fact they were lovely and doft and really tasty. Her salmon also looked dry as hell. I bet she just uses one temperature setting on the oven. Got to love shepherds pie made with diced beef, she really has no clue about food and her family will eat any old crap. My dog is very food orientated,he's a pug cross,but even he wouldn't touch her burt,dried out offerings. The mountain of stodge she calls mash,makes me feel ill. I think she realised he wasn't going to support her ambition to become a classroom assistant,he wanted her at home pregnant and looking after the kids. Helen for all her loud mouth behaviour, is someone who needs a man,the desperation is probably why Danny got involved with her,because it makes her easier to control and manipulate. I honestly think there's more to the relationship between him and his 'friend' he's always,going away with or going to re enactmentsI doubt even a stray would eat her food
Their carb intake is horrendous. I agree, she's changed since having Ella, it's strange really, can't quite put my finger on why she has changed, not sure if the change in her started when she left her job or if it was when Ella came along. I think Danny partly has something to do with it too.
He definitely didn't want her to get that job she applied for, it's a shame because she did enjoy working at that school and wouldnakqays proudly show what the kids had made her at the end of term. He does come across as very controlling and she she does everything he says, her life and the kids are all on his terms. Oh there's definitely something strange about him and his friend, Helen is never invited or allowed to do the re-enactment things, it's weird and it doesn't sit right with me. I think she'd enjoy the re-enactments if he'd let her. He can go off and do things on his own with friends, but she can't apart from going to her hometown to do her friend's hair.
To be honest if I was with a partner as loud and attention seeking as her,i wouldn't invite her either. She's going to struggle once the boys leave home. I imagine her being quite jealous of their partners

The smell from them lingers far longer than chips. Oh maybe Danny has taken the nails out of the window then, I never thought about that. They are quite a strange family, him especially!
