Fire fighting = incessantly reading Tattle and responding to every criticism except those relating to the book.

In all seriousness, it’s been almost two years. Two. 24 months. Come on man. Ive said before that I’m quite sympathetic to her mitigating circumstances but surely even she can see that at least some of this delay is just down to her choosing not to prioritise it? If she was working in a traditional job with projects and deadlines a two-year delay wouldn’t fly in any industry. She’s awful at keeping herself accountable and she clearly doesn’t have any good people in her circle to keep her accountable. This cannot go on for much longer. Regardless of how much of the cash she’s spent or squandered, a two year delay is just unfathomably disrespectful.

Tweets from April 2022 and November 2022. Just for context, since these tweets Bex has gone on 3-5 holidays (including one to Italy), been on several nights out, dinners, dates and cinema trips. She doesn’t work and has kiddo free weekends 🙂.

while I don't remember her posting it before, the screenshot means nothing. it could be any account

having said that, I've never come across a banking app yet that even allows you to take screenshots. I have 3 bank accounts with different banks. none of them allow you to take screenshots of your balance 🤷

TBF mine allows screenshots. But yeh, she spent £3000 on literally nothing. Her parents got her a new laptop, and she spent £100 on some new crockery at Asda. A few hundred to the photographer who “sexually assaulted” her (so no photos). Where did the £3000 go?

Interestingly, she owed £3.5k on her IVA back in March, just a little more than is missing from the bank screenshots, and she was in a right old pickle.

Which begs the questions... What did she tell the IVA about the money, what did she tell the DWP, and what did she actually do with it?

And a shout out to requesting a "gift" specifically to pay off the IVA. 😂😂😂

Let me refresh our collective memory on some key events in the timeline....

May 2018 - IVA incurred, which means she can't save ANYTHING for 5 years
View attachment 2549329 q

Jan 2022 - Crowdfunder raises £6k

Nov 2023 - £3k has remained in savings for the duration. No book has been produced.

Someone is telling porkies somewhere. 👀

The 'crappy' IVA company (and I do accept that there are some that are better than others) are surely the ones helping her to dissolve her debt as she's not paying interest off and it's all said and done at the end of the term? Why did she go down the IVA route if she felt the debt going to her creditors was so low?

An IVA wasn't an option for me when I was poor as duck for various reasons (one being a flooded house and 2k a year house insurance for a number of years and a low income) as I was worried about my mortgage (which I was only able to get at the time as I had a partner at the time and then did not) but I would certainly have welcomed some sort of arrangement where my debts had a set end goal, rather than the spiralling debt of having to live off the amount I'd paid off credit cards every month.

The fact that she saw the IVA (again, unless she got a particularly bad deal) as a bad thing demonstrates the level of financial entitlement and absolute lack of knowledge of what it actually feels like to be badly off. When you've had debt for years, the relief of either not being in debt or finally feeling in control of it can't even be described, there are few recreational highs that would beat it tbh.

I have a Lloyds bank account and you can definitely take screenshots of your balance, I just did a test.

We all know where the stolen money went- tattoos (terrible), nails (terrible), dildo dresses (embarrassing), holidays abroad (without her child) and takeaways (because she’s worth it). Bex deserves nice things guys.

Let not ye allow the screenie issue to banish the truth: that the identical screenie was shown before.

The accompanying heartfelt thread emphasised the good will and care Bex has for her passion project, as does this

Ah. And these were the days of passion, my friends

Scams, slums and crappy mums?

It does not cost £3k for some photos and crockery. Especially when presumably you don’t pay the photographer as he’s done whatever it was she spun this time. Or you find another way to reimburse him, I don’t know.

And that’s if we believe in the screen. Which I don’t. Some have seen it before, I’m not even sure it’s hers.

It’s all so much deflection though. The temptation to write a cookbook myself and see how long it takes me is almost overwhelming. Maybe we should collaborate on one?

I see she has a lot going on again (🤨) but this is quoted so often but what is missed is that many of these countries don't have naff all provision before 6, most children will be in some kind of formalised education or care, quite often mandatory.

Let's take, your friend and mine, the Swedes. Being a stay at home mum is extremely rare in Sweden. Children start at 13 months and it's not considered 'childcare' but early years education. And yes, it's play-based and yakedy yak, but children in Sweden aren't bleeping about playing Minecraft or whatever until they're 7. They are out of the home, in an educational setting.

I don't love kids starting Reception at 4 but I'd rather that than the half-arsed input home-schooling gives them.

I often think this is apt from the ever-sensible Germans.
