I noped out early last week so I can’t see myself tuning back in to watch the final. I can’t even hate watch- I just don’t care about any of these people in any way 😂
But I’m enjoying catching up on here. Roll on summer LI. It will either be much better cos it can’t be worse than this, or we will know for sure whether the whole show just needs writing off.

I am done going back and forth with people over Tanya. You guys can think that she is devil if you want to. If you want to hold the past against her, that is your problem. While everyone is holding Tanya's past mistakes against her, her and Shaq are happily together. Hopefully, one day some of you will heal from Tanya's mistakes, despite it not affecting you and Shaq forgiving her.

I disagree, if a person acts like a bitch they deserve to be called one. I think you are taking this way too personally, Tanya is not the only one who people discuss on here. Olivia, Sammie, Ron, Jessie all get accused of being fake etc every single day but people don’t jump to their defense every time because we don’t actually know these people and it’s not that deep imo. Olivia isn’t even in the villa anymore yet she is still spoken about (rightfully so) so it’s really not some vendetta against just Tanya.

No one needs to “heal” from anything, once again we do not know these people therefore what they do doesn’t directly impact my life. I watch the show and comment on it, but once that hour is over I barely think about them until the next night. Some people get too invested and that’s up to them but personally I don’t.

maybe i’m wrong but i can’t see her getting a really big deal with them like gemma or indiyah. there really is no space for them anymore. they’re all gonna go back to the original jobs i think, kinda funny and sad to think about. imagine taking leave or quitting just to come back cause you didn’t do well enough. like kai can’t come back to being a teacher.
especially all the people that already left, id hate going on there just to do nothing and come back to my job

Would you say Gemma’s been successful? I feel like I never see her?
Someone like Kai would have to have backup plan surely

I don’t see Kai going back to teaching but at the same time I don’t think him or any of the islanders from this series are popular enough to make a proper career from the show? It will be interesting to see what this lot do when the show is finished.

i think that’s also why when picking deals you need to think about longevity and sustainability, instead of getting quick little wins, that won’t last and will lose their hype. otherwise you’ll do well and then just get irrelevant fast. who knows how long being an “influencer” will last, it’s easy to lose relevancy

i don’t keep up with gemma at all and don’t follow her, so idk if she’s been successful, but yh i don’t see her at all tho. all i know is that she got the plt deal. she’ll be fine tho as she was already rich. anyone know what else gemma has done? she was boring to me, and you need personality to do this stuff, although she has all fans despite that

i’ve said this before and maybe i’m biased cause she’s my favourite but indiyah has had multiple deals and she’s the most successful from her szn in my eyes. i don’t know how long she’ll do aftersun but it’s something that will actually last. and there’s a lot of positive comments about the maya/indiyah/will group compared to last year. love island did well with that.

Indiyah is doing well for herself, deservedly IMO.
I saw recently that she has just signed a deal for gym wear. Sorry can’t remember the name but my point here is that I found it quite interesting that so close to the end of the current show they went to her when there is a pretty obvious candidate, Jessie, in the present cast who would fit that role well due to what she does for a living. Yes, last summer’s group is way better than this year’s.. in every respect.

I think a lot of people hate that 3 musketeers crap as well as bitchy Samie & Tanya - even if you don’t like Kai and Sanam or Ron & Lana you’d vote Will & Jessie out to annoy the clique.

The only person who seems to be affected here is you. You've made your point.
If you have that much of an issue with posts on here then either report them to the mods or better still step away.
 
I wouldn't be surprised if Kai and Sanam did return to their regular jobs. Although we've never been shown any of these conversations, they've obviously both talked about their work quite passionately from what Sanam said at their final date. They both seem like intelligent people (yes, even Kai lol) and hopefully would realise ditching careers they have probably both worked hard for would be a mistake.

They could still get paid for interviews and photoshoots and the inevitable holiday in Dubai.

Kai and Sanam finally favourites, if (and only if) they get through tonight they will be a lot closer to the prize, goes to show how unfair it seems to have them in the bottom three when they only received one vote from the others: Tanya and Shaq (especially Tanya) your work got done, for what good it will do you 😭

Still very much a case a what gets shown, and not shown, in the last two days.
