People who give their pets boring names. I feel like when you name a pet you have a unique chance to be a bit creative with it because it won’t matter to the dog/cat that they have a weird name. It’s not like naming a child where you have to think about their future and how it sounds etc. So when someone gets a new dog and is like “this is Bob the dog” all I can think is “that’s the best you could come up with??”🤣

I have three cats at the mo. Gymnastics, Mouse and Beans :D
 
I keep getting a sharp pain in my pelvic area, it’s making me feel sick. 😣

My cousin got a new kitten recently. She and her husband have called him “Doug.” We’re Scottish. 🐶 😸
 
Just left a shopping center about half an hour ago and some guy holds open the door, I say "thank you" and then I suddenly hear him shouting "thanks" in a sarcastic tone and he gave me a look of utter disgust. I don't have a Glaswegian accent (it's a mishmash and sounds kinda American at times), I wonder if he didn't understand me or thought I was saying something else. Always makes me a bit sad if I think I offended someone.

Did you have a mask on? He’s probably just not heard you correctly as you say. I hate when that happens too and jump straight to overthinking it. Try not to dwell on it. You’ll likely never see that person again and I doubt they’ll have thought any more of it.
 
My mum and dad. They’re really moany lately and especially towards me and my partner. We live with them right now as we are saving up to get our own place and every little thing we do they pick it apart and it feels so exhausting. It genuinely feels like I’ll never be happy. I feel afraid they’ll drive away my partner with their weird overly dramatic reactions. They have no desire to mix with my partners family, they’ve made no effort and my mum pretty much caused a feud to happen with my partners mum. My partner suggested we play poker at a family gathering and they went ballistic, claiming he has a gambling problem(he doesn’t), he drinks beers sometimes and they even made a comment about that saying one day he might get drunk and beat me. Literally it’s making me a wreck and I’ve been in my room all day, I feel absolutely wrecked and so anxious.

We’re saving up to get our own place but it honestly feels like that’ll take forever to happen as it takes so long to save up, I just feel like my parents are being really rude about it. They started judging my partner and said his true colours are starting to come out. It’s only a card game??

My mum even told me she “doubts” our future because of it

Honestly move out, it will take you longer to save for your own home but you can't go on like that :( unless you are saving to rent?

We’re saving up for a deposit to buy a house, it’s stressful enough as it is and they’re adding to it by making us want to escape as soon as! Also update: my partner messaged my mum saying sorry and explaining himself, how he didn’t mean to cause a faff just suggested it for fun and not for bad gambling purposes, I’m waiting to hear her response ...

I feel sad that my partner even has to explain himself or say sorry as I know he doesn’t mean anything bad by it, just meant it as a fun thing he doesn’t even gamble! My mum and dad are hypocrites because they play the lottery which is a form of gambling
 
We're getting work done in our house and it's been upside down so left our new laminate in the hallway. Yesterday I walked into it and smacked my pinky toe, it's cut in 3 places, bruised at the top and still can't put my full weight onto it 😖
Literally just over a week ago I caught my pinky in the car boot when I closed it. The 2 things that make me so squeamish is finger and toe injuries 🤮
 
the time of day just after tea time (and your angels have refused to eat whatever you've made them) , too early to give the kids a bath and start bed time routines but you are dying to have some alone time. Watching the clock waiting for 6 when I can start running that bath 🤣 hubby not home from work yet (not that he's much help when he does get in 🙄) its been just me and the kids all day long

I just want to be left alone today, love my kids to death but my god if I hear "mum" one more time!!!!

We adopted a Daniel and changed his name because it just sounded stupid. Used to have a Jacko but it suited him.

My kids all went to bed at 6ish, tea, bath, bed, they didn't have to go to sleep but they had to read and be quiet

All day they had my undivided attention. I needed me time.

The worst is I personally can't even pin point the actual reason. Food poisoning & pregnancy are definitely out of the equation.

I got my second COVID shot three weeks ago and whilst I had nausea after the first one, I doubt I'd suddenly get nausea after three weeks.

I want to eat, but the thought of food turns my stomach upside down. Smh.
