What is the pettiest thing you've ever done? #2

Knew someone who was claiming the highest rate of mobility DLA - allegedly couldn’t walk more than 100 yards, had to be accompanied everywhere, and she had a Motability vehicle, plus a disabled bay outside her house, and a shitload of benefits.
Then discovered she had applied to train as a nurse, had been accepted and was working 13 hour shifts on the wards as part of her training. On her feet all day. Going to university classes. Walking just fine, using public transport often.
Oh and she posted this for all to see on her Facebook page.

She was also a nasty vindictive bleep who had previously reported a friend of mine to social services, saying she neglected her kid while doing sex work (entirely untrue) and left the child home alone for long periods. Again completely untrue.
I reported her for benefit fraud. Within two weeks the car was gone. The benefits were stopped and she was couldn’t continue the nursing course.
She was eventually prosecuted for benefit fraud, had to pay back thousands and now has a criminal record.
I have absolutely no issue with people claiming benefits they need.
Just don’t defraud the system then boast about it.

this ain’t even petty, you’re just doing your civic duty. It’s good we have a benefits/welfare system but it’s degraded when people blatantly lie.

My neighbour is a moaning, sour-faced, trout. Our upstairs landing windows face each other and I got a vase shaped like an arse so that she has to look at it every day. I don’t even like the vase.
That's something I would do.

We had a neighbour once who, despite their being a 6 foot plus fence between our gardens, and she was literally 5ft, would take her little hop up step out to the fenceline and climb up and look over. If you caught her she'd say "oh sorry I thought I heard noise so was just checking all was ok". It was only when we installed a ring camera did we realise how often she was doing it and trying to see in through the kitchen and bi fold doors, so I sent for window decals of a hand giving the finger 🖕 and stuck them on my windows.

Was delivering a parcel and got an absolute mouthful for disturbing a work call. The next time I had a parcel for her, I drove the van past the house, stopped, wrote out the sorry you aren't in docket, turned the van round then parked up outside leaving the van running, ran to the door and knocked with one hand while the other was shoving the docket through the letterbox, then legged it for the van and drove off. Moral of the story, if you wfh and order parcels to be delivered to your house, don't give the delivery person a mouthful when they attempt to deliver.

I'm flying to India quite a lot for work at the moment - I have a friend who is cabin crew, flying long haul, and the one thing I have learned from her is to get a big bag of chocolates from duty free and give them to the crew once I'm in my seat! She says they always have a bag of something on the go in the galley and I know how flipping hard they work to look after everyone.
The bar is so low with passengers nowadays that I just appreciate it when people say hello, please and thank you 🤦🏼‍♀️ When I worked long haul I used to shake up the cans of hole passengers, satisfying to watch it go all over them 🤭

I did 30 years in hospitality and tbh never really had an issue with rude customers and very few complaints, 2 years as a Postie and I literally hate people now. The last few years has seen serious deterioration in peoples behaviour.
I've turned into a passive aggressive monster plotting stupid things.

I don't understand why this person thought you might know when the work call had ended and it was safe to knock 🤣🤣🥰
