Tits seems already burnt out and it’s week 3.
I find it infuriating that he’s a talented runner that could do well with the right coaching but with his silly self coaching methods he seems to have no clue of basic principles and any sort of physiology.
Going from 80km weeks to 130km with double threshold (wtaf) and all the tit miles, no strength work, and expecting it all to work based on discipline and motivation. Noice👍

Also, do we think Kels has already given up in whatever spectacular goal she had for the year? BQ, Ironman, etc? It would seem reasonable but I reckon she’ll come back in desperation to keep some audience
Hope he can make it to the key session of this block, an all out 10k the week before his marathon
 
Anyone? You too can be as fab as Tits and Kels, and meet a new partner (whether married or not) and go on to become insta-famous and achieve great success in your running ‘career’! Anyone at all? No???

I mean he’s taking the piss, right? He thinks he’s doing a PhD at Loughborough or Bath doesn’t he? Matt, you’re an unemployed hobby jogger who’s missed every pb attempt in the last 4 years because you have no idea how to train. Leave the science to the people who actually know S-C-I-E-N-C-E.
 
What is he going to do with all this lactate data he's busy making graphs with? I mean a bit of knowledge in the wrong hands is a dangerous thing?! It all feels a bit pointless if you continue to train like a tw@t. How is he actually using this to gain the minutes he needs to be faster, to beat his last mara time (because he hasn't been close to 2.20 in years, has he?).
 
I always tell people that the more money you spend, the faster you'll get. I guess the same goes for lactate testing. The more you test, the more you improve
Sorry to quote you again, but coming from an educational background, we have the term weighing the pig doesn’t make it fatter.

We could have long discussions about what constitutes useful data and the fact that knowing you’re being “weighed”/taking lactate measurements could affect your training but really? For the likes of tits?
