Omg that’s the one I’m currently using 🤣 I had to buy a 4 pack because they were the only vegan option in Tesco. They really do leave you squeaky clean so I don’t mind the smell. I tried some soap from Lush and they were awful.

Just treated myself to some Faith in Nature ones and incense off Amazon. Hello, it’s the 90s calling 🙃

I’m sure I read that imperial leather no longer has animal fat in it. That’s what I use (not vegan but the soap reminds me of my granny).

Dishwashers are a waste of money, energy & space.

This has shocked me more than any other comment on here. I just don't understand.

I had no dishwasher for a while, it was only me and my partner but washing up was so much effort. And a draining board of stuff all the time urgh. And who can be arsed to stand drying stuff. It's just extra effort.

My best friend and her husband have a functional dishwasher in their house and they choose not to use it. They actually… opt to wash up. I cannot understand it either. Their sink is constantly full of dirty dishes and the draining board covered in mugs and plates. Just why?!

it's the one thing won't do without., my sister tried to get me to buy one for ever and I wasn't interested, then when I finally did, holy moly what a treasure and I would do without my washing machine before my dishwasher now

I had a man friend who said women who had dishwashers were lazy.. That would be while he left his plate on the arm of the chair for me to take to the kitchen for him.. Wasn't too long before he become an ex man friend

I’m on a roll today. I don’t like the trend of matching family PJ’s at Christmas. I don’t really know what the point of it is?

It’s to brag about just how amazingly close they are as a family and that no other family could possibly love each other more because look, they’re all matchy matchy all over social media.

I also hate the fact that this trend has given us the new word ‘famjams’. Family pyjamas, famjams. Ugh.

Okay - this one might be really unpopular!!! During the Christmas period I've seen loads of things, primarily from the NHS, on Twitter about non Christians working Christmas to let people spend time with their families. They're obviously getting loads of likes and nice comments.

For me there's 2 things here

1) I'm pretty sure that Drs will cover shifts at Eid, Diwali, Hannukah etc but won't go on social media looking for praise.

2) I work with a large South Asian comminity. A few years ago, the staff announced that none of their service users where coming in on Christmas eve because they were all preparing for their families visiting them.

So this attitude that its only Christians that celebrate Christmas is wrong. Its very much seen as a time for families to be together. Or maybe that's just in Scotland.

NOPE not just Scotland. I have done a lot of stints in Retail especially around Christmas over the years and when I worked for Debenhams one year there was an unwritten agreement that the Asian staff would offer to do Christmas if other staff covered the New Year,, but I think this is long gone..

I live in a town in West London that has a large Asian community and believe me this Christmas the vast majority of people out and about on the streets doing Christmas shopping were Asian be it Sikh. Hindu or Muslim.. and I don't just mean gifts.. but food etc. I politely enquired about this when it was happening to a lesser degree in one of my other Seasonal retail jobs and was told that in their cultures their holidays don't tend to include gift giving so hence this is why they "do Christmas" in addition to Eid etc..
