Yah fashion "types" who can't string a sentence together shouldn't be given book deals based on their following. See: Anna Cascarina.
Little mention of the Latitude boycotts in a larger segment about book Festival sponsorship loss due to a campaign group in the “The Rest is Entertainment” podcast. Worth a listen (generally but also on this topic).
Her post is hilariously clueless. Books don’t ‘get picked up for a TV show’ just because they exist.I read that Stacey post; it all seemed so sadly predictable. It irks me anyway when female journalists have to write misery memoir-style articles mining their personal life in order to get commissioned. But a whole book! And then she says she was hoping/expecting a film/TV co to pick it up. And then that didn't happen! (Because she couldn't afford the tube fare or somesuch. Really?!!) And so everyone else is to blame because she devoted months of her working life to a book that flopped. Woe is me
Did she honestly not think any of these thoughts whilst she was writing it? Some of these gals need to realise that they’re not entitled to the moon on a stick.
Her previous post was about how she spent £150 on some glittery shoes. The one before that was about celebrating her 50th in Menorca. She has money, just no bleeping CLUE.
Yeah I call BS on the part about not meeting the TV exec because she couldn't afford the tube. In a previous post she said she borrowed £100 from a mate to feed her kids... but first stop was Pret for a proper coffee because *god she'd missed it*. That kind of chaos ain't endearing.I read that Stacey post; it all seemed so sadly predictable. Her ex was doing (Waitrose) food shops for her and the kids recently too. I doubt she will ever change, bumbling chaotically from one disaster to another.Yeah I call BS on the part about not meeting the TV exec because she couldn't afford the tube. to us it's just another variation on 'Shameless' just with a Vampire's Wife dress involved.
Yeah we discussed this in her thread- I reckon she’s run out of cashByrony Gordon’s jumped from the Telegraph to the DM.
Yes, although Stacey is financially chaotic in a way I imagine Rishi is not - she will seemingly happily miss mortgage payments and not be able to stock up her fridge, while prioritising the flashy lifestyle pleasures like shoes and a holiday home.Yadda yadda menopause... yadda yadda ADHD... yadda yadda poor me poor me... oh but I just exchanged on my £1million house and my Menorca reno is fabulous and here are my new designer shoes. She's giving me Rishi vibes.
Does it annoy anyone else when couples are at another couple’s wedding and just use it as a photo op for themselves?! These two are just unbearably smug in everything
Is that a weird migrated filler lump above her cheekbone?
I do often use weddings as a a chance for a couple photo because, unlike these two, I don’t get nights out with my husband all dressed up very often at all
