I read that Stacey post; it all seemed so sadly predictable. It irks me anyway when female journalists have to write misery memoir-style articles mining their personal life in order to get commissioned. But a whole book! And then she says she was hoping/expecting a film/TV co to pick it up. And then that didn't happen! (Because she couldn't afford the tube fare or somesuch. Really?!!) And so everyone else is to blame because she devoted months of her working life to a book that flopped. Woe is me

Didn't even know who Stacey was but that post is very odd, her attitude is terrible.

Yeah I call BS on the part about not meeting the TV exec because she couldn't afford the tube. In a previous post she said she borrowed £100 from a mate to feed her kids... but first stop was Pret for a proper coffee because *god she'd missed it*. Her ex was doing (Waitrose) food shops for her and the kids recently too. I doubt she will ever change, bumbling chaotically from one disaster to another.

If Stacey Duguid lived on a council estate she would have been referred to social services by now. Living a selfish, chaotic life somehow seems 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' to the luvvies whereas to us it's just another variation on 'Shameless' just with a Vampire's Wife dress involved.

Yes, although Stacey is financially chaotic in a way I imagine Rishi is not - she will seemingly happily miss mortgage payments and not be able to stock up her fridge, while prioritising the flashy lifestyle pleasures like shoes and a holiday home.
She’s lucky that her ex husband picks up the pieces for her while she continues to explore her midlife sexual awakening with her young French boyfriend.

Does it annoy anyone else when couples are at another couple’s wedding and just use it as a photo op for themselves?! These two are just unbearably smug in everything

I do often use weddings as a a chance for a couple photo because, unlike these two, I don’t get nights out with my husband all dressed up very often at all
