Ah here, could be Rose of Tralee 2016, nevermind 1986. That festival is a time warp.
I do think she looked lovely and I liked the idea of the dress, but execution is poor, finish cheap.
For me the blue dress is pretty but it’s giving a cross between Disney princess and fancy wallpaper.
Caroline annoys me and I can’t really pin down why. I find her way more irritating than Dolly (sorry I quite like dolly) there’s something about the cool girl ‘I’m so hot’ schtick. I also can’t get over how much older she looks than she actually is. To me she looks 36-37 but she’s only 32-33? I find that wild.

Hammering the booze and cigs will do that for you. It’s actually worse when you stop.
The pics/ photo dump of her boozy pics from uni made me laugh the other day. I follow a couple of sober influencers like Abi feltnam on Insta and it was similar to their ‘before’ posts.

LLs are obsessed with substances though, they drink/smoke/sniff way more than the average thirtysomething even though they don’t work and can afford sleep and skincare. Guess they’re just bored

Dolly is heading off on tour and 5/6 of the English venues are down south. Few people have commented about it and requested other locations (as is common from any tour announcement!) so now we have the rest of the crew taking the piss. Biting the hand that feeds you comes to mind

You see I do like Dolly and her books but hearing her talk about love and heartbreak on stage would just bore me

This just comes across as nasty.
I know, it’s kind of suggesting anywhere outside of London is obscure and provincial by comparing places to the arctic. People are asking about Newcastle fgs, not a small village, people asking about the latter would be fair game tbh but so would someone saying ‘can you come to Hampstead’?
