Exactly people spreading false info!!

She was O' Donovan, that family have nothing to do with Julie.
The poor man just happens to have a sister called Paula. Jesus, imagine the amount of views his notice is after getting.

Yep I totally agree, she will be gone in a couple of days, twins dumped again. I don't understand why she can't mind them at the moment anyway 🤔 I know if my uncle sadly passed away in the morning I'd still have me kids like. Don't get me wrong I'm very sorry for her loss but I just don't get why her kids have to be passed off to someone else because she's had a bereavement
It's no wonder she had no food in the house, she didn't think she would be home so wasn't going to bother her arse doing any food shop.

Julie very busy following new people while offline, management pages, cosmetic dentist in Liverpool, a fashion comms in Penneys 🤔

It’s disgraceful, strangers like scavengers on rip.ie, no doubt upsetting family who have nothing to do with the Julie circus. It’s like all the weirdos who logged on to live stream her fathers funeral. Two sides of the same coin as Julie, voyeuristic carry on.
This is EXACTLY why I don't like RIP, every Tom, Dick and Harry reading the condolences and having a good nose. Is ANYTHING private and dignified any more?

The family can turn off the condolences if they wanted to through their undertaker. They can also choose what information is published. They can also choose just to go the national paper notice route. High profile deaths, popular known people's deaths, influemcers relatives deaths can be as private as they see fit.
Genuine people will get their message of sympathy across through other means other than rip.
There will always be people who get a thrill out of writing these condolences, but they can be limited.

So it’s up to certain families to restrict their loved ones deaths, rather than the onus being on strangers to show some respect and butt out of bereavements that don’t concern them?
No. There has always been the uninvited mourner. Before the internet, you had the paper, the deaths section. Rows of them. I've been in family bereavement situations where even strangers turned up at a house for the wake, for a drink and food and the chats, to see if they knew anyone. That would've been 20/30 years ago. Those who will thrive in a mourning death situation will find a way to do so, regardless of restriction of information.

I absolutely hate when you get comments on rip.ie saying "from a Cork mother". I hate it especially when it is a child who died and it seems all too common.

But let's not forget that Julie shared the rip.ie link when her Father passed away. I know she hasnt shared her uncle's death notice. But she basically invited people to leave condolences and watch the live stream when her Dad died.

Edited to add - when the poor young boy from Carrigaline died in the cycling accident she shared a photo on her stories which was very obviously a screenshot from rip.ie.

People insinuated they were invited to watch and discuss, not that they were invited and I’m sorry but if you’re logging on to a funeral mass with the sole intention to look at what the family are wearing or how they’re behaving, then you’re pond scum, in my opinion. There is no excuse for viewing funerals/obituaries to satisfy ill intentions and the family certainly never invite that on themselves.
