I'm from cork but the county, it's always mam around here unless they are posh or American. My kids picked it up from friends before and I hated it, I'll take ma, mam or mammy.

Mom is a Cork thing. I've always called my mother Mom. I'm early 30's and we arent posh. I grew up in a council estate in cork suburbs so def not posh!

I think its despicable that Julie and her family decided they were above social distancing. I used to like following Julie's account until i met her and on a night out. Social smoker is that the term? I also think it disgusting that she allows her children to be in an environment where her dad is constantly smoking, the disgusting overflowing ashtrays in her stories 🤢
She used to work in a very prominent Cork creche before she went to Australia. She also ran a side business making nappy cakes - i won't say where she sourced the nappies from.
Her mother is the chef in the creche she used to work in. Julie has frequently filmed her wearing her work tshirt. I highly doubt the creche owner would be happy about that.
Julie's cousin/family relatives own the creche she works in now. The creche does not have a good reputation. Julie often films herself wearing her work fleece/tshirt.
She should not be doing any school collections in her own car, a company vehicle should be used as god forbid if she crashed she's not insured to be carrying the children in her own car, also her child seats are not suitable for a school going child. I wonder if the parents of the children she collects are aware of this?
Constantly crying crocodile tears into the phone is all a bit much, the poor me show is getting old. I do hope she is declaring all her additional incomes to the tax man

This is not a criticism, but is 'mom' a Cork thing?
I don't know anyone that refers to their mother as mom, it's normally mam or when needy mammy or the posh ones that say mum.
I would be interested in hearing people's thoughts on this.
Ya it’s a cork thing!
Always call my mom that & my two call me mom ☺️

Ah come on lads, can anyone not show her how to use lipstick?

I've long since believed that Julie has to smoke at some point to be able to put up with the smell at her parents table, between the cooking and the smoking, it must absolutely stink in there, I wouldn't let next doors cat in, never mind my children, one of whom I've constantly said has athsma.
Imagine the stink off those poor babies after they've spent an afternoon in that house, who's minding them while she does her personal training?.

I’m keeping my mouth firmly shut here! This hits very hard to home for me in a similar position as her except I am a true single mom who hasn’t had any family support during this lockdown and who has a father with cancer! This is like not just a slap in the face to me but a knife in the heart! I adore my parents and miss them madly. My child cries daily now and every single day is asking ‘mommy is coronavirus over yet I miss my grandma and grandpa’ then when hug & cry together! His grandparents have been with us both since he was born I don’t know what I would do without them. But because of lockdown I couldn’t see them and I still can’t because this still isn’t over and I want to be able to hug my father again rather than visit his grave side. I did what I had to do that was morally and right thing. Then you get assholes like this taking it as a joke, doing what they want when I would give anything just to hug my parents again to the point it physically feels like I’m grieving for people who are still here.

I'm actually in the same boat. My father doesnt have cancer though, he has organ failure... its torture to not be with him but we know its best. It's people like the haynes that break my heart, it's their selfishness that's going to keep us away from our loved ones longer. Hope your doing ok, sending hugs 💖

This won’t last long unless she gets more publicity from them. BA to one life fitness in September and she’s been blowing on about SW and how many other gyms since? & we were on lockdown in between as loyal as they come this one is for her 5 mins of daily fame 😂😂 god bless us! Does anything she say even last long on a serious note because she has changed the whole homelessness & emergency accommodation to make herself more appealing reason being Drinan Street wouldn’t entertain ya for sleeping on a couch let alone a couch in your family home they wouldn’t of even considering her homeless unless she went to a b&b or Edel house so she may of walked down the road to declare herself homeless that day but that would of been it! Her “emergency accommodation” her friend knew a landlord & she knew it was a 6month contract so it was merely a short term rental and sure she was delighted with her long term rental from her parents friend not even a year in & she’s blowing on about her council house. She’s a lucky girl with what she has with the house she’s in a 3 bedroom with an enclosed back garden it suits her & the twins but ain’t good enough for Julie. Its irritating with her when she’s been getting lucky & then with an absolute great support from her family she’s still complaining she don’t get a break playing the poor me I’m a single mother card. I can’t understand how she can even really consider herself one only for her name on the payment come on like she couldn’t even cope on her own during the lockdown she’d to move her brother in for her built in babysitter. Or maybe it’s me doing this whole single mother thing wrong? 🤔🤔

Definitely a Cork thing, I’m late 40’s and I call my mother Mom 😃😃
