I love looking at the checker app where people upload their tests and some women actually take them apart to see a line 😂 TTC turn us into crazies.
I took a photo of it next to an unused test held up to the window then edited it so I could see the imaginary line better. Then had a word with myself, binned the test and deleted the photo 😂 I stopped testing for months, I shouldn't have started again 😂

Ladies, some advice please... So, we're not TTC yet and I'm still on the pill but we've been lax with the condom use recently if you catch my drift.

The last week or so I've felt more tired and kinda sicky during the day but nothing too exciting. Chalked it up to marathon training and nerves. Decided for peace of mind to do a test this morning just to see and the first one came up with two lines :o BUT and it's a big BUT I use the proper cheapy 2 for £1 hold the end yourself ones and uh, I just kinda wee on them, not put them in a pot of urine and think when I wee'd on it I knocked the urine into the test fill bit higher up rather than just in the place it's meant to go (it kinda bent at the 'test point' if that makes sense). Did another half an hour after the proper way and no second line at all - big difference in the two, night and day. I know that false negatives are fairly common in comparison to false positives but is it worth me trying a third test to confirm or just wait until tomorrow morning and do it again then? I don't feel any different today to how I did a month ago when I had my last period which also makes me think I just buggered the test up.

Yeh I would wait till tomorrow morning now. When are you due on?

Hmm, I have a theory on my wild tests. a lot of apps - like premom - are US based so use Fahrenheit and Celsius. I think my charts look insane because the “perfect lines” that are far apart are Fahrenheit, not Celsius. I’ve been changing others’s chart temperatures from F to C and my temperature is around average. I’ve gone full detective on this as you can tell. It doesn’t explain my rollercoaster of results but it explains the closeness of the lines - I think.

What apps are you huns using? I think I need a UK specific one.

I use Fertility Friend to chart, I like the little line it puts in when it calculates ovulation.

This is my current chart as an example:

That’s interesting. Does it track LH level too?
