Hi ladies. Hope everyone’s okay as can be. ❤

I just wanted to ask that anyone who has been to see a doctor/specialist ect about fertility. How many cycles did you wait before doing so? I know the NHS says a year of trying. Also how long did you have to wait before getting tests ect. Xxx

I had been on my period from April - August, constantly, and went to doctor to discuss something else, mentioned about TTC and she said you have to wait a whole 12 months of consecutively trying before they’ll do anything. Easier said than done when 4 of those months I was constantly bleeding 😡 she didn’t even gibe Me any pills to stop it! Luckily I went back and someone else did 😅

I have PCOS so thought as it was longer than 6 months they may have referred me, but obviously not! and I’m 33 so not got that much time before I’m 35!

yes in Ireland it’s 6 months for over 35s & a year for under 35s. Incredibly frustrating esp if you have other issues. Glad another GP sorted for you.

I started trying at the start of July 2020 and went to see my Dr in December 2020 and got diagnosed with PCOS. She said if I was still trying in March without any success she would refer me for further tests. March came around and she sent off the referral but I’ve literally only just had my initial consultation and booked in for further scan etc. So even though I was seen quite quickly due to PCOS it’s ended up being just over a year of trying before getting the ball rolling due to waiting lists etc xx

We’re so anxious about the results of the sperm analysis Monday 😩. I’m so angry they told my OH it was abnormal with no context and told to wait til Monday. I’m aware it could be something minimal but also can’t shake it could be something really bad.
Wishing you all the best and please let us know on Monday if you can. I can’t imagine how you’re feeling with that hanging over you all weekend! Sending lots of love and positive energy 💖

I’m due to be having my second COVID vaccine tomorrow and I’m really weary. I think I’ll have ovulated either yesterday or Thursday, and for the first time in possibly a year, I actually feel like we had a good amount of sex around the right time, so I’m trying to do everything possible to increase my chances.

What would you do about the vaccine? I’m not under any fertility clinic to ask for advice, and obviously I’d have no chance of speaking to my GP today with it being Sunday.

Personally I’d still go for it as I know I wouldn’t want the vaccine whilst pregnant. I held off for my first vaccine - originally got invited whilst pregnant but when I had my mc I booked straight in for my first. I had my second last week and I am glad I had it now. Ultimately it is your decision, do what you feel is best for you xx

Hey, hope everyone's okay!

Has anyone had their first bfp after 12dpo? I'm assuming it's a. no for me this month. All my weird symptoms have gone, but trying to remain hopeful!

Hi fish sticks. Yes I had a faint line that you could easily see at 12 dpo. It was a negative at 11dpo. Fingers crossed for you x

I had my second Covid vaccine yesterday at 5dpo, worried in case I’ve ruined my chances this month as I’ve heard it can mess cycles up!

I’ve rebooked for what will potentially be the first day of my next period. I just want to give us the best possible chance this cycle, then if it doesn’t happen, then I’ll be fully vaccined and can start trying again.

I’m so confused for the past three weeks I’ve had a lot of symptoms! Feeling sick, headaches, back pain, constant cramps in lower abdomen, feeling tired! Yet today I’ve came on my period five days early!

Have you had Covid vaccines recently!? I was 3 weeks late after my first Covid vaccine and had nausea and stomach cramps for a couple of weeks before hand, I was convinced I might be pregnant 😞 Had my second vaccine and looks to be going the opposite way this time and my period is coming early. The cramps are already horrendous and I’m not due on until the weekend.

I had my first vaccine 8 weeks ago! This will be my third period since then the other 2 were on time!
