Thats what I was saying about the book . Besides her beginning story in it the " recipies to lose 100lbs" is complete crap now . She is 3 weeks into a big specialised plan . Lost 7 and a half pounds if im correct but lost nothing the last 2 weeks ?? With all the workouts and extreme food planning. She said its all part of the process to calorie control but I dont believe a word anymore . What is she eating to gain so much during lockdown and then lose not even a half a pound for 2 weeks . Her meals are meant to be all clean and healthy . Im confusedI’m not saying this to be jumped on or to be harsh - but was the update a few hours ago that she has not lost any weight this week ? I don’t understand ? So either she is eating more then what she is showing us or that plan isn’t working ? It’s not exactly a glowing endorsement for either her book or that gym ! Given her weight by even cutting 300 calories a day plus work outs she should be loosing even 1 lb a week ! I’m only saying this as it’s a weight Loss page she is creating and a “ transformation “.. just confusing how the book says to follow x y z and you will “ beat the bulge “ ..
I would say there is a serious amount of secret eating going on. She needs to talk to someone about addiction . Doing it for instagram wasnt the purpose .She's obviously eating in secret. During lockdown when she was showing all those workouts in her house I kept thinking why she wouldn't just put on her runners and go walking the hills and roads around where she lived, it looks stunning and the weather was beautiful at that time. If she had done that every day instead of those poxy HIIT workouts , she might have done a lot better. She would have been out in the fresh air , out of the house and away from food - and probably wouldn't have gained so much weight back
I remember she showed a pic of her breakfast and it was a big plate of food with a bleeping potato waffle on the side like jesus mary and joseph who eats potato waffles with their already gigantic breakfast when they're trying to lose weight! what's wrong with a bowl of fruit and fibre and a cup of teaI’m no way a nutritionist or anything similar. But I don’t understand the whole “I’m bigger therefore I need more calories”. Like obviously taller people/men etc need more food. But if your already overweight then why would you match calories to fit that weight if it’s fat and not muscle/height etc your basing your intake on. As I said I’m not in the know about it and I think there can be so much conflicting diet/advice out there. But that logic just confused me

Another time for one of her snacks, she had 2 turkey burgers, a bread roll, a lump of butter and several easi single slices... she came on her stories saying "leave my cheese alone". Lots of people had messaged her saying "its really bad for you, its plastic cheese, has zero nutrients" etc. She seems to have ZERO knowledge about nutrition which also really confuses me because she is a chef, she is always saying food is her passion. I think its more like "huge amounts of shi* food is my passion". Eating is her passion and food is her addiction. Even though I stopped following her when Dan Sweeney came on board and ruined everything I really hope she achieves her goals, she has a long way to go and a lot of stuff to work through"bleeping potato waffle" ..... but this is exactly correct. Dan is Toxic AF . Doubt he would be her ' best friend ' without any instagram exposure he feels he gets with TrishaEating is her passion and food it her addiction. I just saw it, thats a huge dinner, loads of carbs... I doubt her nutritionist told her she could have pizzaExactly! I questioned the potato waffles myself! I think things get blurry with all these nutrition experts/PTs/talk of protein. Ya some of the snacks are dinner sized. That latest “roast chicken dinner”. All I can see are spuds, rice and...pizza?

Agree about the eating more than she’s showing but I don’t agree with the 1600-1800 estimate, when you’re dieting, a) it should only be a phase, not a long term thing, lose and maintain. Which she seems to struggle with.I agree with what everyone is saying - it’s mind blowing. She’s so big still and is losing nothing. Also I agree with the waffles, and other random crap she eats. Her face looks alot smaller compared to 3 weeks ago though, I hope she loses big next week.
How do Brian Keane, Roz and all them fitness people keep a straight face around her when she is shouting “ beat the bulge” the last year and a half and is slowly gaining weight back?? I think she’s lying to herself, it looks like she’s eating way than what she’s saying. A few months ago she was eating 2300 calories to lose weight - I think that’s too much. It obviously wasn’t working cos she wasn’t losing anything. I think she should be eating more like 1600-1800 cals.

b) put calories that low to start and you just won’t adhere to them, calories too lowmeans you’ll binge. Restriction is not easy.
The whole idea of a dieting phase is to maintain the calories as high as you can whilst also losing body fat, eat @ 2300, if you’re losing weight at that stick with it until you no longer lose at that number. Starting @1800 doesn’t give you any room to shake things up when you hit a plateau
