Not buying the calories count, I was Trisha weight and lost 5 stone, most calories I got on a very fast 5km was 390.
Wow, well done! So impressive and proves it is totally doable! At the start of a weight loss attempt myself. Not similar to Trisha's size but still a few stone to lose. I've lost before and am back doing the walking at the moment. I agree about the calorie counts seeming very high for the distance. I also feel like she should be maybe upping the distance a bit at this stage. She should well be able to do 5km easily if she has been consistently doing them. You need to continue to add little increments to push yourself a little exercise wise when you're actively trying to lose weight.

I started skipping and find it really helps toning arms, calves etc. And it’s a quick hit. 20 minutes a day with a 5km helps enormously

Thanks for the tip, cos I definitely need something to tone as well to supplement the walking! Still won't be trying to sell anyone a book about my "success" for a good while yet :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
