You know, they irritate the life out of me but Tom looks absolutely done in every photo. It’s not a look of unhappiness as such, its like the strongest vibe of unhappiness. Depression I guess. I know they are just photos but it’s such a sharp contrast to his usual upbeat persona.

Curious he wasn’t on the McFly live.. did they say why?

I caught a few minutes of the live and Tom wasn't there because of a "family incident" apparently
 
Yeah one of his sons has a cut lip. That's why he ducked out.

The others did mention that Tom has had vocal issues. It comes and goes but he's struggling with his vocal range?

He just looks like his lights have gone out and it’s really sad.
 
My “problem” with it is that Tom must have known that he’d bitten off more than he can chew work wise at the second half of last year. Strictly and the McFly tour at the same time would have been enough for anyone. He has had mental health problems for a long time now, you’d think he would know his limitations. It’s not like he needs the money.

I honestly think he cares more about his other projects outside of McFLY, hence taking on the tour etc. He knew one of them would suffer and it ended up being the band.
 
Don't think he realised how much of his time and attention three boys would take up. Most parents don't.

They expect their baby to fit around the umpteen other things in their lives. When really the baby takes up central position and you have to cram in all the things around it.

And sometimes you have to give up some of those things (even if it's temporarily) and people don't like that.


That's the reason I've decided I'm not built for kids, I'm way too time-selfish.
