No gushing Valentine’s Day post about him though. Still radio silence on his own Instagram account. He didn’t post anything about her last night in the play, no post about her for Valentine’s…..

I’m surprised we haven’t had a huge gushing post about the last night of the Strictly tour, seeing as that now marks the official end of Strictly 2021.
 
I actually don’t know a huge amount about this guy and nobody needs to hear my musings but here goes:

* seems to have had previous experience of ED and bipolar disorder. Strictly, I would imagine, could have easily triggered the former and as another poster said, the endorphins, the undivided attention of Amy, the glitz and glamour could have given him a high and this is the unfortunate crashing low.

* I genuinely believe he thought the glitterball was his. If you have an ego that big (to think you’ve got it in the bag before you’ve laced up your dance shoes) then it could take a lot of time to do a “post mortem” of what went wrong and mentally apportion blame which then in turn could lead to resentment. (Someone had said he’d retweeted posts around the time of his couple’s choice that said the Judges had got it wrong/undermarked him etc).

* he could be looking for attention. He didn’t foresee his exit from Strictly and couldn’t do the tour however Giovanna seems to have done well in this play and coupled with the fact she won her reality show, he’s possibly spat the dummy out.

* he knows people will be talking about him being off social media. Not only was Gio’s play successful (I think?), his sister has split up with her boyfriend - maybe he’s not happy when there’s no attention on him?

Who knows, but whatever is going on, I wish him well.

Exactly. That’s what I said the whole message. If he’s having a crisis, then he’ll want to be going through this privately. Therefore, Giovanna not wearing her wedding ring(and knowing that the media will speculate over this) you’d think she would do anything she could to NOT draw attention.
In no way did I say he was looking for attention, the complete opposite.
 
I don’t think it’s a relationship thing. She hasn’t worn her rings since end of November but the looks of things so it could be she just not been wearing them since the play. She may start again soon.

I personally think he’s just going through a social media break and needs a rest. As a mcfly fan I hope he’s okay.

This. He’ll pop back up with ‘long time no see, been a busy one’ & then carry on. Still think somethings gone on with him, he’s not looked happy for ages. Hopefully he’ll be feeling better soon. But to be honest, he can stay off social media if he wants 😂
 
I think it's related to his bipolar disorder and he's been away to get help. Seems like he's come back recently as there was a mcfly video call and then Gis post. Based on what Dougie has been saying, it sounds as though Tom's not in a good place mentally, although I suppose its however you interpret it. Guess we'll never know

I don't think he would. He's had mental health problems for years and has never wrote a book solely on that subject

No but he has given interviews about it. I didn't say he would write a book I said he'll give interviews around the time his next book is out or McFly's new album.


Talking emotionally to Fearne Cotton a few years back, Tom recalled the time in his career when he noticed that he was “struggling more than other people”.

The star continued to say: “Ever since I was a child, I’ve always been highly emotional. I’d feel excited one moment, then the polar opposite the next. But I think everyone just thought that’s who I was.”

For Tom, mood swings were not his only issue. When enjoying his first glimpses of stardom, the star explained that his weight also “became an issue,” so much so that he stopped eating and “basically just drank coffee”.

Speaking more about his mental health struggles, that led to him sometimes not wanting to get out of bed, Tom said: “It was so unhealthy.

I thought they were on holiday from the pic she posted the other day when they're on a beach? Doesn't one of her parents live by the beach? The kids are probably on half term and they've gone away.
