Oh, I didn't mean to offend anyone. Maybe they looked so good together because they had known each other since childhood, had been together for almost ten or so years, and there was something natural about how they interacted. I am so used to seeing people of Indian (Asian Indian) marry within their community that when I see a mixed pair, it stands out for me. As for actual statistics, I do not know how many Indians or Sri Lankans marry outside their ethnicity in the UK or in the US, but as for Tiffany's family....I did not see another mixed couple in her family, which was also why I said that Tiroy and Tiffany looked so good together. During the Christmas gift exchange last year, I think Matt was the only non-Sri Lankan there. I wonder how he
felt, and how he feels when they speak in Tamil and he doesn't understand it. There are more issues to inter-racial marriages than looks in some cases. Just sayin'! Cheers!
Idk I felt like he didn't care about her as much. Like when she talked to him, he wasn't very enthusiastic and didn't show much attention to her. He always looked annoyed or tired or something. Their dynamic felt more like friends than a couple. And with Matt idk I don't feel like she's fully herself but they fit with each other, they make each other laugh, he listens to what she says.

She’s very secretive about how they met.
Maybe she does not want to mention that they met at Specsavers as he would not want people knowing where he works. He is a private guy. Notice that one of the most persistent questions in the comments has been about where Matt works. People keep asking that as if they did not know google existed.
Just remembered that tea with Tiffany video in which she dragged Matt to make an appearance and they played that game. I managed to watch just a few minutes of it. So awkward. She said these Tuesday videos would be about answering people's questions but she just used them for nonsense.

Northern Irish people are very sharp, witty and have a wicked sense of humour, often charmingly at the expense of others. Not sure that Matts family would take well to Darling I’m in the kitchen Tiffany. If you know anyone from Northern Ireland you’d know what I mean.
I'm from Belfast and honestly, I'd find it so bleeping weird 🤣🤣🤣🥴 I'd tell her to wise up lmao

The reason she elusively stated a few videos back for not receiving chemo now is that she is not supposed to have chemo prior to surgery. No other reasons were given by her. For any doctors who read this, would you please tell us why/if chemo is contraindicated prior to extensive surgery? The only reason I can think of is that is would weaken her, and she needs to be strong for that type of surgery.

I am not sure about the time difference between these two relationships, but, no one should be saying 'Thank God you broke up with him'. Tiroy is a successful engineer, seems like a serious fellow, and any young lady would be lucky to be his choice in life (I did some searching.) Tiroy also looks a lot better now than he did before, in my opinion. Tiroy and Tiffany looked very good together because they were of the same race, accent, language--just natural together. I think Tiffany was more natural with Tiroy in the sense that I didn't detect 'darling this' and 'darling that' with him---no such formality. She never mentioned the reasons for their breakup. Matt, of course, is a very nice person. However, if they really have been together and serious with each other for four years, why didn't Tiffany ever make a trip to Ireland to meet his father? Tiffany mentioned that she hadn't met his father yet, or at least that is what I interpreted from what she had said.

It is odd that she hasn't met him. I thought it was because of the cancer but I didn't realise how long they've been together.

Agree completely. And has nothing to do with race or culture or whatnot. It's a maturity thing. If I were him, I'd get so frustrated with her. I imagine he has to put up with so much nonsense from her.
I feel you on this. He seems way too sharp and mature for her antics. If she’s like a totally different, real person IRL, then maybe that’s why he’s with her, but if she always acts like this, then I don’t see much compatibility. he seems over it most of the time.

*thanks for your other reply. as for culture, yeah, interracial relationships can sometimes be weird with culture issues but the only prob I had was the comment about it how it “looks”. otherwise I agree they don’t fit for so many other reasons

Yes I feel he is too sharp and mature for her babyish behaviour. When phones around her ring, she dances to the ringtone. Yes, it's harmless but it shows a lot about her. You can see that Amma is also baffled by her at times :ROFLMAO: And exactly, he often shows signs of displeasure when she behaves like she behaves. He is definitely not into it. She seems to want him to join in but he remains reserved.

Yes, culture differences exist and there could be issues with that but I think Tiffany and Matt's union would suffer more because of personality differences.

Wherever he's from, at least he did not leave her when she got sick. And doing a certain level of cooking, and caring for her, I reckon. Although thank the heavens for her mom, who most likely had to look after Tiffany and Matt like any mommy would do. She did say she would cook more, after her Japanese curry cooking session with her mom. I'm surprised she has not cook more, since she's well enough to stand and walk, and just be in the kitchen.

The dancing to the ringtone is so painfully cringy that I look away lol.

I've been thinking about what the nurse said to Tiffany. She said something like 'the operation could cause nerve damage which might result in bladder weakness'
At the time I was annoyed at the doctor for having a nurse call her when he was 'ill' especially as she didn't seem to know her case. As I understood it her bladder would be removed along with all the other lower abdominal organs?
Now I'm wondering if the nurse knew exactly what she was talking about and the operation isn't nearly as extensive as Tiffany let us believe?

Yes, I think the nurse told her that her bladder nerve could get damaged due to the operation. Yes, they offered her pelvic exenteration which would lead to removal of all of the pelvic organs including the bladder. I read Nat Woodward's (only discovered her as people on here talked about her) older post in which she said she experienced the said bladder nerve damage after her pelvic exenteration and Nat's bladder was not even removed in the end (the only organ in her pelvis which was not removed).
So the patient with this operation would probably experience some kind of dysfunction there regardless of whether the bladder is preserved or removed.

Oh ok. Thank you. I'm getting so confused!

Me too! I still only know what I read, I don't understand the more intricate details.
I think the nurse would be experienced in this area as she is the nurse of the surgeon who is the number one expert on exactly this type of cancer. She must have a lot of experience with this type of operation. The nurse would be the one helping the patients deal with the consequences of this invasive operation.
