In my opinion, as long as we are doing our part (having a healthy lifestyle such as you described), we are mitigating and sometimes avoiding bad or even worse health conditions. While there are no guarantees, you know that you have been doing things that contribute positively to your health based on current research.

Hi Daisy, yes I'm doing well, thank you. Yes I have been a bit quiet but I'm still religiously reading this thread and I'm enjoying the posts ♥
It has just occurred to me that the brat claimed to do the vlogs as a personal diary (for her) about her cancer. Now that the cancer is gone, what is the "diary" about? Absolutely nothing. It's all just repetitive boring crap that would put to sleep even the dead.

This very event struck me as odd. Why would she leave home to take the train to see Matt in the late afternoon while he is at work, only to meet him there and take the train back with him? Was it just to go to a pub they used to frequent? If that were the case, why not make a day out of it on a Saturday or another day when Matt doesn't work?
I suspect there is another reason she made the trip, possibly administrative. Since she formerly worked as a replacement optometrist, she used to drive to different centers. Now, she indicated she may need to take the train to work where Matt works, but would rather drive in case of a stoma problem. As a locum optometrist, she used to drive every day, or at least that's what she said in her earlier videos. It was a given that she would use her car because the train wouldn't be efficient for her. Now, she thought of the possibility of using the train to work where Matt works. That seems to imply she wouldn't be locum anymore, or would be assigned temporarily where he works.
Anyway, the 'Let's take a train to see Matt right before he leaves work to come home.' seemed strange to me, as if she was hiding the real reason.
(Who knows...Maybe Matt grunted a few words about her not remembering much about going to work during their spa vacation, and she then decided to prove him wrong and take the train to see him there.)
Some of the sheep are getting restless about the lack of a marriage proposal. Some had expected him to propose during their vacation. Another asked if she thinks or talks about marriage (with Matt?).

I got from this rubbish video that she will be driving to work and something about booking appointments so got the impression more free lance. I felt the reason she went into the city on the train is some attempt to try to go back in time to when they first dated and met after work for drinks etc. She pretty much said that. The interaction with HA is so repulsive and frankly the video is not worthy of comment really.

Following on from todays post from make sense of it:
I know a few of you have cancer yourself or are affected with it in some way, whether you are dealing with cancer right now or on active surveillance.
I just want to say that I hope the talk of food choices and blame don't upset you.
Nobody knows why someone is diagnosed with a cancer, thats the bottom line.
And I agree, it is down to bad luck.

Pescatarian here, my entire life I have never eaten any animal fat, low cholesterol, excellent Hba1c, no heart disease, no hypertension, no chronic illnesses, physically fit and active as a runner, weight bearing exercises, BMI 19, and no substance abuse.......... can someone tell me why l have bleeping cancer in my bones then???

Ahhh it really sucks, the affliction lottery we must play. None of it's fair and none of it makes sense. My parents died young (50's) of the same friggin' thing (sepsis) a few days apart, no medical professional could explain the how or why, I spent years researching and had to give up. My husband has a list longer than the Nile of diagnoses all before he was 50, already went through major heart surgery, lung nodules that have to be monitored, COPD that they are testing to see if it's genetic, rare form of glaucoma...and it goes on. We have always been "healthy living" people, we haven't eaten fast food in probably 15 or so years. He lifted weights, he biked, he was the most active person I know. And my grandmother, who lived to be in her 90's, drank vodka everyday and smoked all her life. She beat uterine cancer waaaayyy back in the day, never had a recurrence.
I don't discredit those that say food choices and environment play a part because obviously they do for some, but I really believe it's just the luck of the draw with your genetics for many people. As crappy as that is.
 
After listening today I realize it is not so much what she is saying but how she says it. There is something so affected and forced about everything that comes out of her mouth and her facial expressions. At the airport you could hear her in real life voice barking at Matt to video her as she walked into the airport and the fool does exactly what she says. Of course her editing is so poor that she left that in. Not a good look for Matt who frankly really did not look happy on this video. I think the only interest I have left is to see how much more this guy takes of this. Amma looked disgusted too. And good old Elodie giving some sermon on stress as if she is some expert. I am sure in this dysfunctional family she has her own issues.

Agreed. It really comes down to her speaking and behaving in such a fake and insufferable way. Matt really is a fool to put up with her. He will regret staying with her. I picture the rest of his life with this spoilt brat as one full of misery.

I'm at a loss to explain why... she... speaks..... so....slowly and the way she pronounces hol i day, or hos pit al, it's like her brain can't catch up with her mouth. Maybe it's the chemo brain?

She would respond "I am just trying to show people how is life after cancer and surgery. I'm just living my life. You don't have to watch!" :sick:
In fact, as everyone knows, it was never about showing people how is life with cancer or after cancer. It is always about getting people to watch and collect the money. She never ever thought about whether what she shows benefits others. She is one selfish self-centered demon.
 
Tiffany was talking about how great it was to meet HA at work, and how it reminded her of when they hung out after work before she got sick. I can’t help but wonder why she never shares the story of how she met her darling. I’ve seen comments asking her to explain how they met, and how long they’ve been together. I would think she would be glad to tell that “romantic” story lol She’s so hush hush about certain topics, including any information about her previous surgeries. 🧐

I don't know how HA can stand it, I really don't. Living with a grown-up woman who is like a little girl and who says 'Mmm, YUMMY' and a trillion other irritating things. My theory is that he's being bought. He's found a way out of tedious full-time work, but the downside is he's infantilized by his girlfriend on camera in front of thousands of strangers every day.
