I noticed that Tiffany said she was staying in the Markus centre/ward on the night prior to surgery and when you look on the Royal Marsden website it is a private patient ward. Maybe a rich kind subscriber has paid for her to go privately or she was saving her YouTube video earnings up to pay for private care?

Or maybe as she is having such a big operation, the Marsden thought it would be nice for her to be in the private patient area and there was a room available? Could it be because of her YouTube fame and them wanting her to have privacy?
Who knows...Still, I am glad if she has been able to get a decent room for what is obviously going to be a long and uncomfortable recovery process.

Think we'll be on thread 20 and people will still be arguing about the origin of the fox, does it really bloody matter? 😅
No it doesn't! I don't give a duck about Fluffy Fox.

Eh? I'm talking about the people having at eachother about I AM THE FOX, NO YOU'RE NOT. Although if we want to talk unwelcome, being the commander of the block and delete brigade is pretty unwelcoming
Exactly

My post wasn't aimed at you puzzles. Sorry it looked that way. I do believe 15 was the figure T gave. To correct the record and prevent people repeating the crap that T has put out several times, here is the video.
1) Her surgeon said her disease would spread in 6 to 12 months if she didn't do anything (he didn't say she would only live 6 to 12 months)
The local hospital did not say T was inoperable. The local hospital referred T to a specialist hospital (Royal marsden) and told her they THOUGHT surgery may not be an option (NOT it was not an option) T says they 'wasn't sure' surgery was possible, but referred her on the off chance the royal marsden could do it.
When T said 'he said he is only 1 of 15 surgeons worldwide that can perform this surgery'. Matt didn't back her up. He replied "something like that"
Here is the exact video regarding her referral and what her surgeon told her when she first met him
From 10 minutes onwards

I really don’t understand how she came up with that number but hey …
That leaves 8 for the rest of the world and I am very sure we have at least 2 or 3 of them in Gustave Roussy in Paris (3rd center in the world for cancer treatment, just behind the American ones - sorry for being a bit chauvinist) so probably 5 left for the US and voilà ! No surgeons for the rest of the world haha 😂 Lucky you that you have 5 of those just for you guys in UK haha maybe they can help the American ones who are seemingly not enough for all the US population …
Maybe then they fly to help German and Swiss surgeons who are not able to perform PE by themselves ? And so in Australia when they need a PE they have to fly across the world …
I don’t know how she came up with that number but she is definitely not very good at maths haha… 15 or 13 for the whole world, with 5 of them being in UK hmmm yeah sure … 😏

This thread 17 isn't listed in the main list of TT threads.

I only thought that because I just remember her saying there's only 13? some number of surgeons in the world that can do the surgery she needs and she was lucky one was "her" surgeon. Of course I don't know it that's true, but maybe that's what others remember also?
Exactly. She said that the god surgeon was the only one willing to attempt the surgery on her. Those other Royal Marsden doctors were doubtful and one even said that they might not operate cause she is T4B. Her particular case is probably too bad even for PE. And she also said that her surgeon was one in around 13 (or such) surgeons in the world who can do it. She said how lucky she was because of it. Of course, all that might not be true as T is prone to misinterpreting what her doctors tell her. She also likes to exaggerate and speak utter crap. She does not verify the truthfulness of anything. There are many things that she has said that are incorrect. Anyways, no way only 13 doctors in the whole wide world can do PE.

I still have some horrible feeling about this. Surely, if all was well and good she'd be wanting to get someone to update us. Looking back I see Elodie did post something about T but I am interested in the reason behind her removing it so quick. Hmm
Don’t. She wouldn’t have done that if something bad happened to Tiffany. either she's a bit silly and was surprised to find herself overwhelmed by the comments (but I can't find any excuses for her because Tiffany's followers found her IG account a long time ago and she knows it) or she's complicit/conniving … Or she wanted to try something and it backfired 🤣 maybe she wants to gain subscribers ? She gained more than 200 followers in the last few hours … Still public … Comments still on, with a desperate and crazy fan about to lose her mind …

True Jenh.
Its sad to see just how many bleet the same babble that Tiffany says.
T knew surgery was gonna be mid December weeks ago. T divulged to her subscribers that she was told surgery would be mid December. Why an earth is she now saying she was given an abrupt date for surgery? She's a sick puppy.
T will have seen she lost subscribers and will have been reading comments before her surgery, seen that people are unhappy with the way she 'signed off', panicked about losing subscribers and ultimately £'s. Then comes a video. Same ole same ole.
I took time to watch all of T's old videos. T is well known for vanishing for months on end and then returning, apologizing to her subscribers.
The very reason T encourages her subscribers to support each other is that comments bring her £'s.
"Send me pics of your xmas trees" etc, all to bump up comments on her videos. She doesn't care that elderly Dot in Oz or Joan over in the USA are taking their time to take pictures and upload them. It's all about how to bring in £'s.

Now she has people actually thinking T may be dead? It's actually funny to me now. Some people need to back away from the internet and engage common sense mode.
I mentioned that the photo and the caption Elodie posted looked like an 'in memory of' but never said or thought that she actually died. I don't think people are thinking that T has died.

On YT there is a video ‘Celebrating 500 Pelvic Extenteration’ which was filmed at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney in June 2016.
The celebration was for the surgery that gave life back to 500 patients. There was only 1 reported death within 30 days. So that is a high number of PE patients just from one hospital in one small country.

Ok, I am trying to sort out (totally unsuccessfully) the fluffyfox issue. Stardust will need to help me here. Seems like Stardust22 is talking about the original @fluffyfox2534 who currently has the username Cozy Caterpillar. That's the Australian one. Then I think our frog is actually the account @Fluffyfoxhasleftthebuilding who currently has the username Worry Wombat because she was the one doing block and delete on SU2C (I think). How these two accounts are connected is what I don't understand - like why is "fox" in both names - are they the same person or two different people. If they are different, that should explain how frog is Worry Wombat, but not the original @fluffyfox2534 that Stardust22 looked into.

I think The Fluffy Fox should get his or her own thread.... ;)

hahah sorry I find the fox stuff hilarious. Yes @Fluffyfoxhasleftthebuilding is the one I have been speaking about, apologies for mixing them up...not sure how that happened. The one i was investigating was the one with the meditation playlist (@Fluffyfoxhasleftthebuilding) which is also the account created in 2013, although I see the cozy caterpillar has now copied the same playlist...sneaky. Anyway. I still stand by what I said before! I still think this person, or perhaps both, are australian!

I don’t want my own thread thank you very much 💙
I’ve been thinking a lot about Tiffany and why people have felt frustrated with her. I think it might be because Tiff did YouTube for years before she got her cancer diagnosis and she had a makeup/lifestyle/mukbang type channel. I think she wanted to be a famous YouTuber like Zoella but her channel never really took off.
When she got diagnosed with cancer, her subscribers soared and she had a whole new audience. They were mostly people who followed cancer/health channels where it is usual for people to keep their viewers updated about their health journey even with brief Instagram stories or a family member/friend updating the viewers. A bit like Emily Hayward did or Bowel Bro.
But Tiff never wanted a health channel and so she never interacted in that way. She wanted a lifestyle channel but used the word cancer in her video titles so that the kind of viewers she attracted were different to her usual subscribers So there was a kind of disconnect between Tiffany’s expectations and her new subscribers expectations.
Neither are at fault. Hope this makes sense

It totally makes sense I think you are spot on … She never wanted a health channel … And yes, people were used to follow cancer channels with clear updates about cancer so they are a bit disoriented with Tiffany …

It does make sense but we had this figured out already.

But what I don't understand is why some of her YT followers (foxes and wombats especially) were defending her to the extend that they did... Why were they having other followers blocked and deleted, why did they not allow any criticism, why did they blindly believe everything that was said in the Vlogs??
The sudden change /disenchantment appears strange to me - first they were the biggest cheerleaders not allowing any sort of criticism, then they joined the thread to voice their dissatisfaction? Why is this?

I think our Avasarala was fluffyfoxleftthebuilding. She talked about it in the previous thread. Have a look.

TIffany spent the whole vlogmas wrapping presents and opening advent calendars but couldn't find a day to prepare her nails and hair for the major surgery... Her nails looked awful in the latest video. It seems someone (a nurse?) tried to remove the polish, but unsuccessfully.
I think that Tiffany was a very sick (physically and mentally) young woman.

I have a chronic physical condition and I do not have the energy or inclination to comb / brush my hair daily (it takes too much energy that I don’t have and it hurts like hell). However, I can shop online, even when I’m in massive crying pain, because this is my diversion (sadly it’s turning out to be my downfall too as things go up in price I get poorer with every diversion shop).

I think in Tiffany’s case her YT wasn’t just a diversion, it was an obsession too and is costing her dearly, all part of her mental illness collection (food / YT / two and three showers a day / PJs (cosy clothes) (I understand this part too because I live in baggy PJs and hate getting dressed) and whatever other issues she has).

And so determining she could brush / comb / do her hair and nails etc simply by looking at what she is doing physically in other ways skews things. It’s just not that simple.

I think she was very physically poorly. Bleeding all the time. In pain most of the time.

I think her YT was a diversion and eventually an OCD type thing.

This means the two issues are totally separate but only related because of the person.

And Nat Woodward. The next day after her surgery her family posted on her IG "Update on behalf of Natalie. Yesterday she went through her 12 hour pelvic exenteration surgery and is currently recovering in ICU. She lost a lot of blood so had to have some transfusions but the surgeons are very pleased with how it went."

This is what Elodie or Matt could do. It's expected from cancer vloggers to do.
