Janine with a hot water bottle already 🙄 Do they ever use the log burner or is it purely decoration? And if not, why not take it out and sell it to save the weight and space for something useful, like a toilet. I'll never understand how you spend thousands to get to use a hair dryer in the van but tit into garbage bags.

I also wonder what their interpretation of "getting back to Europe asap" will be. Probably 2023 as they will come up with new problems every week.
 
Wow, I didn't realise they had no onboard toilet. WTF? Surely that's most people's first addition for wild camping. All these no facilities park ups, where are they doing their toileting? Do they really poo in a bag🤢 But this pair have added a lot of upgrades which they seem unable to use instead (wood fire, WiFi, dangerous roof "terrace").
I've seen smaller vans with a toilet and shower.

They're too cheap to get one, as usual. The nature head composting toilet that most van lifers use and rave about costs £1000 and unlike the Maxx air fan that every Youtuber gets for free, nature head makes influencers pay for their product.
So Liam's solution was to get a £40 foldable bucket that you put a garbage bag in and fill with cat litter and then dispose of. Most days, they just drive to Tesco though and use their toilets. I don't know about the rest of Europe but in Germany, grocery stores don't have public toilets. And when they drove through France, they said there weren't any either. So good luck with that bucket in Europe.
 
It's like they don't have an individual or original thought between them. That's why they jump on bandwagons, why they're always relying on others to solve their problems and why they think they're having a great time when they're really not. Insufferable, and not suited to this lifestyle whatsoever.
 
So they lost their log book because they had 'looked after it too much'. Riiight. Sounds legit.
I reckon they fled back to the UK because driving around on the Continent scared them more than they thought it would. Plus it is expensive. And looked wet and cold. Making the brakes into one of the reasons holds no water as they were heading back by then anyway.
They'll not be going back any time soon. Possibly Ireland.
 
If they come to Ireland Good luck finding a wild camping spot ,with their large van,most places now have height barriers and no parking overnight signs.The roads are very narrow in the countryside so they will a hard time with the size of the van.I can't understand why they didn't just reconfigure the bed in their original van ,if they had turned it lengthwise it would have solved their problem.In my opinion they are not suited to van life.

Van build series always get lots of engagement and views. I don't believe that bed was ever really a problem and just content because like you said, it was fixable.
The size and model of the removals van made it an interesting project that stands out among the white sprinters and they had just sold their caravan and had the cash. And it did bring in the views and grew their channel, as they hoped.
They also sold Frieda for 17k iirc and might even have made a plus financially 🤢
 
If you have a leak above your bed and it's raining why would you not cover and protect your bedding and mattress? That mattress will be going mouldy, it'll never dry out in that van. 'This is really urgent now..... so instead of getting it fixed straight away we're going to twit about at a spa for awhile then have a nice little day out. By the way this video is sponsored by a random knife'.

WINTER van life? It's the middle of October. Not sure I can motivate myself to click on yet another episode of "England's greatest motorways"

Liam talking authoritatively about “what all vanlifers should know“ once someone else has squirted a bit of filler in a gap for him. It’s a treat for the dedicated hate-watcher.

I thought the same, did they not put anything on the bed to protect it or a bowl to catch the water??

It's moments like this that make me wonder if they're a parody channel.

Another example is them posting a reel where they reflect on their 4 day long Europe road trip.
