Its because they won't feel the benefit of them when they get back in the truck. They don’t even wear gloves
I know at this point Worzel was describing this as Hell and the most treacherous driving conditions. Whereas the road looks fine and there's a wee lady in just a jumper and trainers. They’re like “wow we are in the middle of nowhere, it’s totally inhospitable” and like 5 cars drive past and 2 mins later there’s houses

And ffs what were they expecting anyway? 'It's cold. It's icy. It's snowing'. Such a surprise in the Arctic circle
And they were repeatedly advised in comments that their propane tank would freeze. Worzel knew best and kept quoting 'propane only freezes at -42°'. Yes numbnuts - and you were also repeatedly told the rubber pipe from the propane would freeze and to take steps to prevent that. Obviously it hasn't occurred to him to insulate it.
And of course Nana's in the van having the abdabs.
Is it me or are conditions not really that bad....normal little cars passing him no trouble.
What a pair of bleeping drama queens...
I mean views look nice but I'm on Skye and its just as nice!

Something don't add up the more I watch?
Why didn't they film the fishtailing when he usually films every bleeping thing...
It was dark.....then light when they pulled in to services....then bleeping dark again when he gave his closing speech....but he said it was pitch black when they fish tailed.....his continuity isn't that good for a filming expert
I reckon she’d been asking him to stop for the previous 3 hours driving between the Arctic Circle Centre and Innhaven and him skidding was the last straw.Having spent a good portion of my life in Ohio, I have had the experience of hitting black ice on the road and spinning around backwards, once with with my 4 month old daughter in the backseat.
Yes, it's very scary--for about 10 seconds. But if no one else slams into you, what you do is catch your breath, turn the car in the right direction and continue driving a lot more carefully than you were before.
It does not warrant stopping off at the Circle K for tea and a breakdown. It just means you and everyone else on the road will be late for work that day.
