Holly and Phil should have a day cut. Alison's personality is too much for a whole show. I wonder if this has something to do with the feud between Ruth and Philip? I would much rather watch Eamonn and Ruth over Holly and Phil or Alison.. I do like Dermot. But he does seem bored when he presents though

I find Dermot a nice guy, but very vanilla and boring. Alison is a nice person but too OTT and too loud for 2.5 hours for 4 mornings a week. I guess she got the job as TM want diversity.

Alison was OK doing the celeb interviews but she is too much presenting, it becomes the Alison show. I like Dermot and think it could work with another presenter. Beginning of the end for TM I think

Ruth and Dermot would have been good together: I agree, he’s far too vanilla. Alison is on completely the opposite end of the spectrum.

I quite like Alison but wish Phillip and Holly were being replaced by Eamonn and Ruth. They think they are bigger than the show. Schofield should thank his lucky stars that COVID hit just after his coming out speech so it took the heat off him and the rumours...

Can’t stand watching Holly and Phil,

I don’t watch it anymore much but (to my shame) I do go on the Daily Mail website and they seem to have a bi weekly article about how gaff prone Holly, Phil, both of them or the show has been. It seems to be their sctick now.

I'm really surprised they've sacked Eamonn and Ruth off! I don't really like Eamonn and Ruth presenting personally - the bickering gets to me - but prefer them to whiny giggly Holly and smug git Phil.
I don't think Alison is a good fit for the whole show, she's hysterical and lovely but I think her personality is so vivacious it's nice in small doses, perhaps less so across a whole show - a bit like Holly I think who giggles and squeaks her way through. Dermot, meh, he's the wham bam ham sandwich of the presenting world.
Have they given any reason as to why they've been dropped as it seems very sudden, did something go on behind the scenes (I know tension between Phil and Ruth was strained at one point?)
It doesn't make sense to me at all especially as there were rumours both holly and Phil were leaving a few months ago, and they seem to be presenting or co presenting every show ever on ITV (okay bit of an exaggeration but the point still stands) it doesn't make sense to oversaturate the schedule with them when they could chop and change their hours rather than axe Eamonn and Ruth

Well I think you are right.... the tension on this
Morning before Phil came out between E&R and schof was pretty bad, even at the awards ceremony, they didn’t go to the Christmas party which was widely reported, and when Phil came out it seemed to all get brushed under the carpet, and the way he came out on their Friday show. Ruth comforting him seemed strained and I think they have been made the scapegoat.... I have started to tune into Steph’s packed lunch instead it’s less Samey samey

I am fuming!
Ruth and Eamon have been dropped from their weekly slot and being replaced by Alison and Demot.
Ruth and Eamon are doing the 6 weeks holidays.

Phil and Holly are clearly untouchable, and obviously the producers must think that everyone loves them! Why not cut their days by 1 day per week if they really want dermot and Alison to present ao badly?
