This Mama Life #31 trips to NY, Cyprus and Scotland for vanity, is it only us who questions her sanity?

I dont follow her closely but her attitude is really annoying me. im happy things are going well for her but I had a stillbirth this year and the way she is acting about the pregnancy is hitting a nerve. Travelling when she appears to be high risk, not wanting induced on certain dates etc. plus sharing every little detail. I shouldn’t even look at her instagram but im a glutton for punishment.
 
From what she shows, Isla and Lachlan seem to be very annoying and poorly behaved, with no respect for others. Whiny and feral, the worst possible combo.

She is completely to blame for this, never giving them a moment to relax, and focusing on all the wrong things. It’s very sad. I feel sorry for Isla when she gets just a little older, and Lachlan is already struggling as parents of other kids seek to avoid him.

I hope Sarah uses the new baby and deployed husband as an excuse to cut back on some of the extra curricular activities, and give the kids some peace.

No chance. She can’t cope with them with the limited interactions she has at the moment. There is no way she could deal with spending more time with them and trying to moderate and change their poor behaviour.

Sarah wants time to spend with the newborn taking photos etc and prancing about on instagram. Once newborn is older, it will be dispatched to nursery asap

Lachlan and Isla are lost, unfortunately. This baby couldn’t have come at a worse time. There are greater and greater expectations on them in terms of academics and behaviour etc and they will have little to no support and/or understanding re this.

Sorry to hear about your stillbirth. Hope you’re doing ok. I think she’s being a bit reckless with it all and would be better placed to listen to medical advice and stop acting as if bad things can’t happen.
 
Still cannot believe this absolute wallop got herself pregnant knowing her kids are a bleeping nightmare and her husband away for long periods. She doesn’t parent she thinks their antics are funny ….her cackling behind the phone pisses me off. I actually think she thinks that this child will be the golden goose ….no it’s a turkey. She’ll be crying into her skims nursing bra moaning about the latching on. It’s a tit show about to happen…and going on old posts it’s not going to be the most ista perfect baby.

I think she’ll want to get rid of them as much as possible but will struggle massively in getting them here, there and everywhere. I’m sure another parent from Isla’s football team will take her there until Sarah takes advantage of them and they find Isla living with them for a week.

I don’t know if anyone would volunteer to take Lachlan to and from clubs but probably not and that’s Sarah’s fault too, not just because she seems in denial about whatever it is she’s drip feeding about him but also because she plays out everything on line. A lot of folk will find it harder to help when she just takes all the time

If you commit to taking Isla somewhere, you’re committing to taking her for years. The baby’s bedtime will clash with training/swimming during the week. That’s a huge ask.

That’s why having a third baby with no local family support was so selfish. The children are at totally different stages of life now.

Christmas 2024 and no Isla at Christmas at the Morherland… “funny story guys! Remember Isla’s friend’s mum <does annoying pointing thing when rattling things off> took Isla to training on 12 January? Well she’s still there! Ha ha ha bless them! They love having her, what are they like ha ha ha ha ha”

We can already see from that 3d scan that it looks exactly like Lachlan. He’s a perfectly fine little boy but not photogenic. Just like the rest of his family
 
A friend dropped one of my children home from a club during the first term my youngest started at school because half 7 was just too late for them to be getting home but by Christmas we had all settled into routine and we went back to normal. It’s a nice thing to be able to help out and know there are people you can call upon if needed. But others can’t be an option forever.

Maybe both children behave better for others than their parents? Sometimes I can scratch my head at how my children behave at home, but with others and when we go out, they behave very well. I know that’s quite normal and have to remind myself of this sometimes.

That's tge one thing I drive home to my kids is manners and respect, I'm lucky mine ate brilliant for anyone that mines them, which wouldn't be often but on the rare occasions never have any issues!..

But kind are a representative of ourselves, sarah is bratty and look at her kids!.

I can't see people falling g over to help her , let's face it she wouldn't fall over to help others

No they wanted to induce her on her due date but she's asked to wait a day because of a birthday!
I was Induced with my 2nd and as much as I'd rather have went completely naturally you go with the health care advise...thank god I did because midwife said my waters were no were near going themselves and I was 2weeks overdue!!

Unbelievable! Most people would say to make it easier for “US” or “ME” when I’m on my own.

Poor Sarah just can’t get the staff. Surrounded by utter fools and isn’t her life made harder for it

She could have only really married someone like Sinbad - institutionalised from an early age and used to following orders unquestioningly. Anyone else would have told her to do one

She does know that they have to pack everything into the size of an A4 locker in the navy doesn’t she? I’m sure having inconvenienced Sarah by deploying many a time, he’s alright at packing and repacking a bag, weapons locker, warship… patronising hole.
