Woah. All that drama for the gram was a single night in a&e, back for blood test and back to collect a prescription. The blood test and collecting a prescription are pretty routine yet she made it appear so serious and dramatic. Just for engagement. I’m a little disgusted by this if I’m honest. As someone who is a frequent flyer due to chronic health condition, I wouldn’t even think about getting my camera out or documenting every hospital trip, scan and test. Why, just why????????

None of it adds up. Apparently she was feeling "horrendous" with whole body ache and fever, so bad she thought she needed very urgent medical attention. If so, how did she have the energy for all the cryptic IG stories?
And if it was a UTI, why on earth would that mean gluten free diet? Am I missing something?

Shepperdine is an odd choice for Kelly I think. It's totally secluded most of the way round, repetitive and as they say on the website, is a very quick course - " The event is not really suitable for anyone taking longer than 5 hours to complete the marathon." She'd be incredibly close to that cut off time. It's also very similar in landscape and 'feel' to the 20 mile race she bonked massively at a few years ago when I saw her 'in the wild'!

By quick, you don’t actually mean quick right?

Some of us, myself included, just have to admit at some point that we’ve fulfilled our potential and won’t get much quicker.

Could I do a Marathon faster if I hadn’t been injured? Probably. Am I going to try? Absolutely fucking not. (And my time over Mara was still nearly 15 mins faster).

Without being a twat, my OH’s last crash was far worse than that and her worst one almost made me sell the (n+1) bikes, helmets have broken in 2 (we still have the 2 halves), bikes have bent, it happens. If you want to be an Ironman you need to get used to falling off.

Why do we need to see every minute detail of their lives? It’s a running account and he can’t even be honest about the running.

Spent ages looking at that photo trying to work out which body part I was looking at. Thought it was his back/shoulder and he'd lost a sizable chunk of skin but finally worked out it's just his elbow. My kids have worse grazes from playing out on their bikes.

I can’t help but feel pleased that this absolute tit has fallen off his bike. That’s Karma for all the injury covering up he’s been doing and yet spouting about other athletes honesty as ‘refreshing’. Hope he went head over tit on the handlebars.
