It's done so people see the tube and feel sorry for him I believe. He has a button, which you disconnect after use. She's already said about his tummy being so sore (and prob infected) and that he pulls on it... Again she's not got the sense to disconnect it to stop it pulling at his sight or have it open for him TO play with it.
I think she's doing it to show he's tube fed... That he isn't your typical 3 year old or however old he is.

It makes sense because it’s her and she needs to show that 🙄 we tuck our little ones away as I’d hate to catch it on something when I’m lifting him. A button for us would be lovely at least you could wash and sterilise it xx

I reckon though she would have registered as soon as she had confirmation of her qualifying. If you don’t register with it a certain amount of time the qualification can become nul as you’ve not been practicing, unless you can prove you have been doing things to prevent deskilling. It’s all really strict.

Maybe she didn't update her passport or has a different official first name (some people use their middle name day to day). My official name on the register is based on what's on my passport and my other official documents.
Don't even get me started on some colleagues and tiktok 🙈🙈🙈 TBF more cringe factor than X factor!!

We went straight from nasal tube to feeding button, never used a peg but I do like you can disconnect and have the site closed. We use g tube pads too for around he edge but I guess she won't. Usually his tube is full of bile/milk/air... To say she's a nurse his site is one of the worst I've seen. It must be ever so sore, poor little guy should have it washed and cleaned everyday. And definitely not letting the kittens play with it.
That's only reason I can think of as there's no reason it should be hanging out when not in use. And she even puts it up his top and hangs out that way... So why not just take it out 😂 it's less hassle AND won't irratate his site. X

So you haven’t seen him shuffling about on hospital floors in just a nappy with it trailing behind him like some 3 yrs too old still attached umbilical cord? It literally gets dragged where people have walked/urinated/vomited.
He used to be hardly ever dressed or whatever minimal clothing he did wear had it hanging out of the neck. And I don’t believe he’s ever worn adapted vests which would allow it to be more hygienic. But what do I know. I’m not a ‘nurse’ 🤦🏻‍♀️

If you remove it, like your supposed to, he wouldn't pull at it as much during feeds, because it's always there hes not going to like it, he wouldn't notice it as much as he does if it was only on during feeds.

Leaving it on not just increases the risk of infection but increases the chances of a child messing more during feeds, discomfort and the child detaching it and losing valuable calories during feeds.

Shes making him more aware of it than he needs to be. It's quite sad really putting him through that when you can simply detach it. Most of us do anything to avoid hospital visits, that includes doing everything possible to reduce the risk of infections and weightloss.
 
The stories about getting too many replies to stories? She has 61,000 followers and only gets the bare minimum commenting on grid posts so I doubt shes getting hundreds messaging to every single story she puts up 🙄 I think that's more for the benefit of the 'brands' she hope's will see and will then think shes popular, plus to excuse her lack of communication. Shes definitely seen us mentioning the fundraisers shes never shared for others in the SEN community, so shes said shes turning her story replys off because she misses things including missing a message off another woman with a fundraiser (who she thought she could be friends with even though when people have asked to be friends she has said she is a crap friend and is only able to have 1 friend) 🙄 Hi Kaytee, what about the ones who messaged that you never missed but you just said no to? Tomorrow can you do a story saying you have found the time and resources to sort J out? Thanks Babes

Yes the whole point of a button is that you remove the extension tube. Especially for a mobile child and especially if the site is sore.

Its frustrating that she can take care of her own skin. Priorities are wrong. You cant complain about having to wear a mask for a couple of days a week and getting spots, if your infant is sore because you can not be bothered to disconnect their tube. She cleanses her own skin during breaks, it feels like she finds herself more important than jaxson. I dont get it, shes a mom and you put your own needs last, but shes also a nurse and you would expect her to be more on top of things than your average mom who doesnt have that training but moms without a nurse background dont do what she does. She knows how important it is to keep jaxson infection free, I dont get why shes takes risks with him but looks after herself
 
Wow this thread is a real eye opener. I’ve followed her for over a year and really believed everything she was saying to begin with. I started to have some doubts and looked for a thread to see if I was imagining this but there wasn’t one. Glad to find one now. It sounds stupid but I didn’t even know the tube could be disconnected as it’s always shown dragging around or poking out his top. Why on earth isn’t she removing it. From reading the thread I can see why the SEN community have distanced themselves from her.

I dont think management companies care who they represent, they're probably reading this thread and consoling her saying it's part of being a influencer. This isnt your average influencer getting crap on tattle, the community she advocates for are calling her out, really they should take note of that and distance themselves before her lies affect their rep
