Im not sure I understand her logic with her latest stories. She doesn’t want a fundoplication because last time he nearly died... because he reacted badly to an anaesthetic (which is absolutely a reasonable reason). Instead however, she wants an endoscopy.... which requires an anaesthetic.

Also she needs to learn that you can’t just request procedures. If all these millions of doctors don’t think he needs one, he doesn’t need it

NMC hearings take years often to come to fruition, their investigations are long and often follow a local investigation first. IF she had been referred to the NMC and they acted on it (usually they want the trust to deal with it first) it could be years before there was a case or investigation.

Sorry to burst everyone’s bubble 😂
Aren’t the suspensions pretty much put on there quite quickly to prevent them from working until the full hearing? That’s what I thought but might be wrong.

exactly. She makes out that every doctor she comes across is incompetent. Which is highly doubtful.

let’s not forget that J actually stopped vomiting last year but it all started again when the carers were up for review.

surely the doctors know this.

A suspension would usually come from a hearing, an interim suspension order. A trust could suspend someone but that wouldn’t show on their NMC listings. Youd be surprised at what it takes to be sanctioned as a nurse or midwife. I know a nurse who has an only fans page, the NMC haven’t been informed!

I’m just saying things could happen at a local level
& it not make it to the NMC. In which case we may never know!

I think the fact she stated she feels he doesn’t have a slow system drain says everything. That’s her justification for feeding quickly, chopping and changing plans as she feels best, and ignoring the advice of professionals. Because she feels he doesn’t need it. That says it all!
With the endoscopy to see... what if they find nothing? Would she want the flundoplication then?! All she does is moan about his vomiting then says she doesn’t want to stop him being able to vomit... contradiction of that statement.

Kaytee stopped working very quickly after starting. Probably without ever doing a full shift where she wasn’t supernumerary. If there were concerns at that early stage they would probably be managed quite gently. She is, after all, a newly qualified nurse. Negative outcomes of such discussions could, just by way of example, be a nurse deciding to quit or a mutual agreement to terminate a contract in a probationary period. It’s very unlikely that there would be a referral to the NMC unless there were extremely serious issues.

How big is that font 😂 and comic sans... really professional!

She’s been told repeatedly he has reflux. She has been told by multiple experts what the possibly solutions are. She has 100% ruled out those solutions as too risky. Instead she wants additional, and almost certainly unnecessary and possibly similarly risky, investigations to rule out any other possibility.

The issue she has is that multiple people have offered J a solution to his vomiting. It isn’t like people are ignoring it. She just doesn’t like what’s being offered and has repeatedly declined the suggested treatment. That means the alternative investigations she’s after just aren’t a priority. As far as the treatment team are concerned, the vomiting is on her as she is refusing to have it treated.

Also a wait of a year or more for a non-urgent investigation in a global pandemic is far from unusual.

I haven’t posted anything for a while as I found myself feeling so pissed off with her continual put downs of the NHS,her expectations are beyond reality! She needs to understand that Covid is basically causing the biggest backlog in waiting times in history. There are now more avoidable deaths from untreated cancer than Covid in the 18-50 age group. She is screaming about a months wait? She is so self entitled she actually believes she can make her own referrals and appointments, skipping the waiting list because she is the Nursemum.
The original narrative was ‘he vomits 50 times a day’ it’s now probably once a day, I am sure it’s distressing and is highly annoying she has to wash her bedding but it’s not life threatening. Is she thinking of putting him through highly risky surgery with a cardiac anaesthetist ( probably costs the NHS about £25,000 for the treatment) just to tick a box to keep her 60 hours Kiera’s?
Also who the duck would send their ‘sad baby’ to school on a bus when feeling so sick? she is so selfish, all mothers get tired love!
Grrrrrrr...makes my brain want to combust..
