Did anyone notice the volume of his feed last night? I'm not paediatric trained ut 200mls/hr is quite large?!

My Mum is peg fed and she has 100mls an hour. It's 2 years since she started so I may be remembering it wrongly but I'm fairly sure the dietician said (and this is for an adult) that 100mls an hour is the maximum they recommend. I don't know the recommended amount for children but am sure some of the Mums on here will know. Ridiculous amount imo though

It is quite obvious she didnt want to be a mum.
She doesnt seem maternal and i can imagine things were not serious with J's dad if she was hanging out with men around time he was conceived!
She probably thought she would have a cute mixed race baby with 'good hair' she could show off and dress up...
Also his dad probably doesnt seem as involved as you would like cos i imagine he cannot stand her! Imagine getting trapped by someone like her!
Also we only know one side to all this...bet Kaytee throws in a 'he is not yours ' or 'you cant see him unless you pay '...she seems the type!

Someone said it begire but there's some DEFINITE Munchausen my proxy going on here, but the problem is that J already had a medically diagnosed condition so her actions to exacerbate his illnesses get written off as his disability, rather than the absolute neglect that Kayteeeee is doing. I can't believe he's not been safe guarded or social services been involved before. This week she said how she had missed 2 appointments (a very standard thing with Kaytee - absolutely disgusting by the way. Zero excuse as to miss medical appointments for your sick child)... But she's had time to have her nails done, and I'm pretty certain she won't be missing her laser hair removal appointments.

And whilst I'm ranting, how can she legally get away with blatantly spending the fundraiser money on herself?! How is this legal?!?!
She absolutely disgusts me, and to be honest I really do think poor J needs some social services intervention.

It's called FII now, fabricated or induced illness, it wont be just dismissed because of him having conditions already, send parents and carers can be accused of FII more than other parents. I'm wondering if they're building a case on her instead of just stepping in straight away like they do other children at risk incase she gathers up media support, it's a tricky case, beverely allit is the most famous nurse with muchausens, then theres lucy letby, another nurse, but this is a nurse who's got a social media platform, media support and even management. The papers would have a field day, social services cant afford to get things wrong so they should be acting now instead of waiting for something big to happen to Jaxon.

Heart medications being cut will cause shortness of breath as his heart is working harder and episodes of heart failure can cause odema in the body (fluid build up) which causes his lungs to struggle too.

She’s an absolute fucker.

Could also be a symptom of covid. Will she isolate. Probably not

That's a great point actually. Makes a lot of sense too. Ironically, I'd not even added the fact that she was a Nurse into my thinking (probably because I don't really view her as one. She may have a Nursing degree, but her 8 shifts don't make her a Nurse on my head 😂).
I do hope they are noticing these things like you said.

Isolate? Dont be silly she has laser hair appointments booked!

Funny how she will miss loads of his hospital appointments but attends her nail and hair removal ones!?

He’s rigidly holding onto my hand? No he’s not 🥴

200mls/hr in itself is fine for a child his age, whether it’s recommended for a child with heart and reflux issues is difficult to say.
GReat Ormond St have told me not to reduce my child’s epilepsy medicines this winter, even though that was our long term plan to see if they’re actually helping. They say now is not a good time to end up an inpatient, makes sense of course. I think very unlikely that they have agreed J’s heart medications should be reduced now.
Yesterday she had no childcare for today, now she’s saying his dad has let him down. More likely she asked last minute so she could go for a run and he has said no (doesn’t he live in london?!) so she’s having a tantrum.
What does she think the rest of us single mums with disabled children are doing on a Sunday in a pandemic? Looking after our kids of course. Trying our best to make sure they don’t end up in hospital. I’m sat here reading tattle while I wait for the pump alarm to go off, I wish I could have a Keira for long enough to wash my hair let alone go for a run or film some adverts. Shes really something else.

Wow! I’m totally gobsmacked. Jaxon is doing amazing he’s come on leaps and bounds. The boy she is allowing us to see these last few days is nothing like the one she is describing when arguing about the loss of keiras! I mean his communication and understanding alone is fab I would be shouting it from the rooftops not trying to play it down.

I’m assuming the medication reduction has been done in conjunction with his consultants, because if it hasn’t that is neglect, pure and simple.
I’m giving her the benefit of the doubt here because I don’t want to label someone abusive without knowing the whole picture. Let’s assume she is in close contact with his consultants and that these meds reductions are on their recommendation.

You wouldn’t find me jumping to her defence over anything else but I think calling abuse is potentially quite damaging, even for Tattle.

Yup. Stuck inside with the kids while it rains outside. That’s life as a SEN mum during a pandemic.

Because the vile Susie Verill gave her the get out clause “that after she bought the chair she could buy takeaways, blah, blah, blah” so she did!
