So she's been sharing these coats for weeks, saying they cost her £7-10 each time, and now she wants to resell them on Instagram for a profit. But we know she got them super cheap so surely nobody is going to pay her £30+ for them? She's shot herself in the foot!
I can go on vinted or depop and get a winter coat for £8 and have it delivered to my door so why would I buy the same coat through a middleman like Anna and pay three times that? She might have succeeded with this 10 years ago but everyone uses vinted for everything now and it's all dirt cheap, this won't work as a business and that's not me being a witch, it's the truth. Especially like you said above, we all know what she paid for them in the first place!

They aren't nice enough either for her to do this. For profit, she would need to be sourcing good brands/designers to ask a decent price - the only account I follow that source stuff to sell like this is generally designer. Like you said, I wouldn't want to buy a second hand coat for £30 if I can go to a charity shop myself or hop on vinted.

You would also have to be a size 0 for any of it to fit! Her market is young types who like to thrift and get vintage. I want M&S and 3 different sizes on Klarna so that I can try them on and send back the ones I don’t want!

I begrudge saying it but yeah, she makes most things look half decent because she has the height and build of a model, but your average joe couldn't pull off some of the weird and wacky looks she puts together. I include myself in that. That grey embroidered skirt she got the other week for 25p was straight outta the early 2000s and was ugly as duck. She'd be lucky to get £2 for it on vinted. Not exactly curating a collection of couture pieces is it.

Wow what an inspirational look. Absolutely cracking up at the idea of anyone not mega tall and thin in this get up.

I don’t think she has adhd. She said her meds make her jittery and chatty like she’s on a high. That’s the effect it tends to have on people who take it without adhd. It totally mellows me and focuses my brain and makes me more cognisant so I can have better conversations
Same. I’m way less chatty on meds because my brain works more normally.
