Did anyone else notice how Portia was speaking like Tanya at the airport 🤔 There are so many unanswered questions, like how did Greg know Quentin & why was his photograph on the boat & who are the ‘bad people’ Jack was working for & how was Greg involved with them…amongst others!

Greg was the cowboy that Quentin mentioned he met when he was much younger - the only man he ever loved who he’d do anything for at the time and still would. The photo was in the Villa not on the boat, in Quentin’s bedroom, and shows Greg (in cowboy hat) and Quentin obviously taken when they knew each other years and years ago.

I presumed the bad people are Quentin, his mates and the mafia guy. Greg knows Quentin, they hatched a plan to kill off Tanya so he gets her money and Greg gets paid off to do the renovation work on his Villa and others they own.

I guess if they want Jennifer Coolidge back in season 3 they could set it before the previous series. Each series is pretty much its own thing so the timeline isn't set in stone.

rewatching series 1 and I definitely think the second series was better. I forgot how many annoying characters were in first series, especially the two teenage girls.
 
A prequel would be tricky as doesn't Tanya say she hasn't stayed in a White Lotus before in series 1? I'm sure they could get round that though.
 
I’ve just binged both series after so many people told me to watch it! I loved it was a great watch.
Sounds silly but sort of reminded me of a rich Benidorm lol.
Tanya by far my favourite character maybe because I am obsessed with friends and loved her little cameo in that & also Daphnie I knew from The Bold Type.
 
Portia seems to get a lot of hate on social media but I love her

not sure how old she was , possibly early 20s? But Her ditching Albie for that lad would have 100% been the sort of thing I would do at that age 🤣 then realise the one I went for was a total dick head obviously not to the extreme of being involved with dangerous Italian gangs but you know
