The Undoing - HBO & Sky Atlantic

It’s very watchable, great production values and acting but Kidman is like a cadaver. It is so distracting. What an absolute shame she’s felt the pressure to do that to her face - and I am generally pro people doing what the hec they want to their faces, but if your trade is conveying emotion, and you’ve effectively paralysed that it seems an awful sacrifice to be chasing the youth dragon.

There was one scene where she looked Michael Jackson-esque. Genuinely quite frightening.

I was a bit let down to begin with when it was revealed that Jonathan was actually the killer. But after thinking about it for a while, I realised that Hugh really played a great part. I actually thought he would be innocent and started to suspect almost everyone else in the show. In the final episode, I was convinced he must be innocent because he went as far as blaming Henry :ROFLMAO: I’m not sure what alternative ending I would have preferred!

ooooh okay. Hadn’t looked at it that way but yes I see that.. I suspected just about everyone too!

I’ve stayed off the internet all day until I had chance to watch it.
I won’t put in any spoilers just yet.

Throughout the series it was really bugging me where I had seen the actress who plays the prosecution lawyer before.
Today the penny dropped. There was a BBC series called “Us” on earlier this year starring Tom Hollander and Saskia Reeves where they go on a trip to Europe with their son. The actress played a Danish lady in it.
I’ve just looked her up and she is actually Danish but I don’t recall noticing an accent in The Undoing.

I sort of agree. It was the obvious person that Jonathan was guilty. But I thought it was too obvious, but at the same time couldn't see the way to another person being guilty. At least if it was a British drama they would've dropped a red herring in somewhere for who might have done it. The ending was kinda naff. It was disappointing. I just wasn't hooked on the end when it was blatantly obvious he was guilty and the best bit was Grace turning on him and tit hitting the fan in court when it became obvious she had her bestie give all the gossip to the prosecution. Noma Dumezweni was a powerhouse. So good!
