The Tinder Swindler - Netflix

Who's seen it?

What did you think?

I thought it was really well done ... will look forward to watching the movie too, which is no doubt being worked on as I type (or soon will be, I'm sure).

I know a lot of people will say that these ladies were foolish and should've had an inkling that he was a conman, but when he was so clearly presenting to them that he lived *that* life, he seemed believable, plus they were falling for him and he appeared to be saying all the right things. They're all intelligent women; he was obviously very convincing! Look - he even managed to convince this publication that he was a high flyer:

The only question I had after watching it was, why didn't any of the ladies ask him why he couldn't ask his parents or other family members to help with money (through their connections)?

I feel very sorry for them all, but especially the one who was the main interviewee (the one who lived in the UK). She's bankrupt in the UK, and is up to her eyeballs in debt in her home country. I really hope they get some sort of financial reward from all the interviews and coverage.

If there was ever a fund of sorts set up to recoup the losses, it would be interesting to see how it would get divvied up ... a lot of things would be hard to prove.

It's so unfair that he is out and about, living up large, now ... I was scrolling through his Instagram earlier, when all of a sudden *poof* it went private. I wonder how he's funding his lifestyle now. I wonder too, how many others he scammed money from who are too embarrassed to come forward. I'd love to hear what the real Leviev family think of him using their name.

I thought it was quite fascinating. I agree with the above he presented that lifestyle so well he made it believable, in a way I’m not surprised they all fell for it. Thank god for ayleen figuring him out ! She was very brave. I couldn’t believe at the end he was just continuing to live that fake life! Shocking honestly

Very good watch. I felt for those ladies just victims he was very clever. He’s still out there scamming, disgusting human
same, initially before I watched I thought how stupid, but now I have seen it, I can see he was super clever in how he went about it. I think we would all like to think we wouldn't fall for it but we never know. I can't believe he is out walking the streets and has a new gf like what on earth

I know right it makes me sick he is out walking the streets with a new gf and where on earth did he get the money for the life he has now. I looked him up on IG last night and he had 111k followers, was chatting to my friend about it this morning and he had 125k!! It's sick and as my friend said he could be helping other guys do the same now. I really do hope the ladies make money off the back of the show and can pay off their debts and hopefully have money to get a place or whatever they want to set them up for life. Some people are blaming the women aswell but end of the day if a hot charming man who happened to have money and doted on you of course it could easily happen. He is very clever in how he went about it.

If im on the right insta for him its still public but no posts since october

These professional con men are the absolute scum of the earth. Their plan is so elaborate you can see how some women would get sucked in.
He created a fake world, a fake existence and could be googled too ( under his fake name ). It’s easy to watch and think why did they keep giving him money!? but they loved the guy, and love is blind. He knew every trick in the book to make women fall in love with him too, and took his time to carve out his elaborate swindle.
They are despicable people, and the absolute scum of the earth. Their greed costs people their mental health, and destroys their life.

I was shocked there was no recompense. Hopefully, as I think someone above said, the exposure of the show and Netflix deals etc might go some way to helping them financially
The problem is, and always will be that the law says that these women gave their money willingly. They were not drugged, kidnapped, held a gun to, and that’s the real problem.
The guy is a pro and knows what he is doin. By doing it this way, he is not breaking the law, only breaking the moral law, and she in turn is liable for all the money.
Let’s hope with all this exposure, the women can get paid for their stories and more.

This photo was posted 62 weeks ago and made me wonder if he did get the surgery he was wanting, as he looks quite different ...

But then in this one - posted 38 weeks ago - he looks as he did on the TV show:

It probably means nothing though - he'd definitely be the sort to mix up his photos, to throw people off the scent of where he is and what he's up to.

I wondered - when the third lady was selling off his clothes - how many of them were genuine designer labels. We knew at least one of his watches was fake ... maybe his wardrobe was too?

That's the one - I can see it now too. Strange how it suddenly went private when I was looking at it yesterday. Comments are limited though.

Seems someone else had the same thing happen (that's definitely not my comment):

Also, yesterday when I was looking he didn't follow anyone; now he follows "Kate Konlin" who must be the Israeli model the documentary mentioned. She's also in his latest "story" sitting in the back of a car with him.

Was anyone else left wondering what the situation was with the "mother of his child" who apparently testified against him in court in 2016, but then was traveling with him in 2019?

It really pisses me off that this guy seems untouchable! Whose funds are propping him up at the moment?

Karma will catch up with him when he least expects it. This always gives me hope for all the scum out there right now…a bit of divine intervention as justice 💪
