Just my two cents, but I don’t think Tim and Jenn go on these cruises hoping to make money from the views. We know they went on this current one just so Oliver could do the baby race but I don’t think the sole purpose of their cruises is for views or making money otherwise they would do something other than eat their weight in food and flop around on a beach for a couple of hours.

I agree. I think they go on cruises/vacations/staycations to get away from home. Jenn thinks home=work=childcare=stress.

👀 You made me look it up.

Another British term.
Told ya TL is educational!

“Grot”
noun
INFORMAL•BRITISH
  1. something unpleasant, dirty, or of poor quality.
"they watch endless grot on TV"
This is Grotbags, from a UK kids tv show, a certain someone has a doppelganger 😁

The math doesn’t add up and even dim can see that. Each outlandish Disney cruise cements my belief that the trackers are quietly sponsored by Disney or one of their many shell companies. Hiding sponsorships can’t be difficult. Repeatedly pulling 25k out of thin air on the other hand…
Woah! Where did that come from?

Care to elaborate on your thought process @bumpire?

Or are you just attention seeking?

I’m listening. (tapping foot)

OT - question for @xmasbdaygirl.
I keep forgetting to ask you this.

Having watched Dislyfeofours previously (Rae is allegedly Tim’s TA) when they cruise they always order several bottles of a non-alcoholic blue sparkling beverage for their teenage/young adult kids for the room and at meals.

What is this beverage called?
What is the cost per bottle?

Yeah, I think it’s more about getting away from their real life versus views. They’re not alone. So many people use constant Disney trips as a way to avoid improving their real lives.
I believe you have hit on the real truth here. Avoidance. They hate their actual life & home. These cruises provide much better food and in abundance than they have at their home. Gin can sleep most of the day away. Tim gets to play with the characters and the nanny provides relief from dealing with often awake Oliver.

I hope you don't mind me jumping in.

It is called Cloudem and is a sparkling apple cider. They are $20 + 18% gratuity. If you are platinum or higher in their loyalty club, you can request a bottle as your stateroom gift and that is what I do. It is the best value. They also have it in gold sometimes and I got that instead of the blue on the last cruise.

Thanks.

I wonder why Tim doesn’t order this?
Is it not bougie/flexy enough?

Tim always seems to opt for the box of chocolates as his CC welcome gift.
Which J$ will claim as his and devour the entire box.
That is, unless the bovine beats him to it.

Can you get it by the glass too? I want to say they tried some sort of sparkling apple juice on one of the back to back Wish cruises.

They had it in the Concierge Lounge. It is also served at the DVC reception and Gold/Platinum/Pearl reception on 8-nt or longer cruises. They have it at stuff like that...

Because after a million cruise he still doesn’t know about it😆

I was coming to say this. I honestly think he doesn't know. The gift choices are listed as: fruit platter, chocolates, or Prosecco. They don't list it as an option, but you would think with how much he goes out of his way to avoid alcohol, he would know.

All you need to do when you call room service to request your gift is to say, "I would like the nonalcoholic option." Disney Travel Experts indeed.
