Did you ever try the Knorr brand rice in a little bag?

Sooo good. We get the "butter and herb" and the there's also "broccoli and cheddar."
Super easy to make (it's dry and you just boil it in water and some butter or butter alternative
(we use regular unsalted butter and also Earth Balance regularly)
Yes I love Knorr rice as sides. Cheddar and broccoli is a fav

Didn't she used to witch about hello fresh? Or was that another one, I remember ages ago she used to get a box an it was just none stop complaining about how they had to go to the shop to replace things because they were off, but I wonder if it was "off" because it had been left for days

Yeah, I think it was Hello Fresh. Then they did Marley Spoon or something and didn't like that either. I really do think they just let things sit and that's why ingredients went bad for them.

We used Every Plate for a few years and I LOVED it. I hate cooking and this was a good way for my husband and I to split cooking duties (he cooks most nights because he enjoys cooking. I cook if he wants a night off because I hate cooking lol), because I actually didn't mind cooking if the stuff was already portioned and easily accessible. I really want to go back to EP but my husband is fine with cooking for us most nights now, so we haven't bothered yet.

Yeah, it was hello fresh she got them actually for quite a long time and then they would complain stuff was spoiled, but they would order boxes and then go on a vacation somewhere and not eat them when they showed up.

I want to say they also used Plated-not sure if that was the one they were using that went out of business. I personally have tried Blue Apron and Marley Spoon, but it just wasn't that feasible to use with gluten allergies-though Marley Spoon at least marks their meals if there's gluten added, etc. Also, I don't live near one of the hubs and did occasionally get vegetables that were on their last legs. Plus, I actually sort of like to cook so it really didn't make sense for me.

I’m not even convinced they like Disney. It’s close in proximity and they’ve made a lot of money off of it.

There is no joy, no excitement or even interest. (Kind of like when they are with their kids. It’s a “have to” not a “want to”) Say what you want about the vlogging culture, but most of the others out there can at least fake excitement for what they do.

They make my skin crawl as humans but they piss me off as “Disney Vloggers”.

Completely agree. With Nate and Jacky et al, while they obviously put on an act they have a genuine passion that they draw from.

There is no sense of this with the trackers. They barely try to show enthusiasm and when they do it’s completely forced and fake. See Tim’s “wee” and other commentary when he’s on a ride. I know he’s trying to be funny but it just comes off as him being bored to death. I’m not sure he’s capable of finding real joy in the moment.

I kind of thought it was hello fresh, I also remember them saying about how the company was always giving them like money off the next box or sending extras out, I've no idea what hello fresh is like but I doubt they were as bad as what the slackers were making them to be an I can imagine they amount of complaints they done when it was probably their fault

Hello Fresh QC has really took a nose dive.

We used them for awhile, but kept running into issues with poor produce quality, and not getting enough of the ingredients. We would inspect everything upon delivery, so this isn't like Ginn throwing the bags into the fridge and going to make the meal 10 days later and being shocked the produce wilted/etc.

I can’t understand their haphazard dinner situation. Is it more difficult to cook dinner when there are little kids involved? Definitely. But having dinner in two shifts to keep him busy while you cook makes your life harder. And what was so hard about grilling some chicken and making rice and broccoli while there’s another ADULT in the house? And why wouldn’t J$ eat the same meal? That was a perfectly fine meal for a little kid, maybe minus the marinade if it was super spicy. I feel like she just looks for excuses to check out of child care at every turn, even if it means spending an hour cooking when it could have been 20 minutes.

they don’t like to eat with OGB. They like to pretend they are childless having adult dinner alone.

Do you think it's possible they believe food reviews are about quantity and not quality?
I sort of think they view munkbangs as model food reviews

And about them not eating with OG Buddy, I really don't get it. That was one of the things we always did growing up was eat dinner together. I guess maybe because at the theme park they get his food first they think that's how it should be when they are at home as well/they probably are still hand feeding him.

Ugh, there's less than a month to August 10th....so far not looking good for OG Buddy and school.

I think she also complained about Purple Carrot too.

Purple Carrot was, IMHO, even better than HF and we loved HF and PC the most BUT PC had, in general, better looking produce, nicer packaging, nicer booklet for recipes (not just recipe cards), even had bonus recipes and here or there, you'd get a sample of some product to try.

Again, rarely when there'd be an issue (like a wilty unusable herb) or a missing veg, I'd typically just brush it off and improvise but if there was a bit bigger mix-up (which happened a tad more with HF than PC) - though rare - there was zero issue ever with their response to my need.

(and as soon as I'd get our box, I'd inspect all the produce, wipe excess water, store properly, etc. and prioritize the meals based on the ingredients and how long-lasting they were, e.g., a pepper will last a bit longer in the fridge than, say, spinach - doubtful Jenn did ANY of that)

So, as usual, Jenn... it's probably you who creates the bigger problem, not the company trying to fix it.

Barring the cupcakes, bananas, and onions which are round shaped foods. I've noticed Tim likes round shaped things:

Hamburgers = Round

Hamburger Bun = Round

Hot dog = Yes, they are tube shaped. But they are also round too. A multitasking shaped food.

Pancakes = Round

Sometimes waffles are round, like in luge (spelling) form.

Beef Tenderloin = sorta round shaped

Milkshake = comes in a round cup or glass

when he does eat fruit or veg, Blueberries = Round. Oranges/Grapefruit = Round

Ice Cream = when scooped into a cone or bowl (vs. ice cream bar or sandwhich, unless it is a cookie sandwich which round) are round.
OMG Dillon, you have cracked the code. Just like in the National Treasure movies the answer was in front of us the whole time. We just needed to look at things more simply. Nick Cage would be proud and that's high praise.

I love Nic Cage. So I will take that as a compliment!

Jennbo is very round too. But at this point I am not sure if he likes that sort of round at this point.

I think they were confusingly and convolutedly trying to explain that they eat crap at the parks because that's what they think the average vacationer would eat and that's what the viewers want to see. But, I really think it's Tim who wants to eat at these restaurants and the huge amount of crap that they eat. Don't get me wrong, Jen is plenty happy to oblige and eat her way through the parks and resorts, but I also think she was genuine when she said she also wants to balance that occasionally with something like air-fired chicken and broccoli.

Tim scoffs, "what are we supposed to eat, salad?" Yes, Tim, I am sure that just as many people are interested in salads or other healthier options as there are in the Big Kahuna plate. But Tim doesn't want to eat salad. He wants to eat endless bacon cheeseburgers.

And I am 100% certain Tim eats something else whenever Jen makes those PC vegan meals. There is no way he's satisfied with that. He is still sneaking candy after Buddy goes to bed.

Speaking of which, they were confused about where that candy came from (Christmas, no birthday, no Easter) and finally settled that it was candy they took on the plane to Hawaii for the flight attendants. Two questions about that (1) Did they not end up giving the candy to flight attendants and brought it back home to sit in a drawer for 7 months? and (2) Does a Ziploc of Hershey's Kisses seem like a low-rent gift for people flying in first class? Well, I guess it does go well with the greasy McD's bag.

"We have no choice, we have to eat like we are on vacation. It's our job!"
