Very naive if they think going to nursery is only about ABCs and counting etc. It's far more about social skills, building confidence and resilience, developing responsible attitudes and being part of a community. There's still another year before Florence is due to start nursery so maybe they are just saying that for the comments and stir it creates. As for letting Joseph "try" school I've never heard such nonsense - no 6 year old should be making such big decisions. I wonder how long he'll get to go for? First lesson from the Sullivan School of stupidity is going to be to give up at the first hurdle and don't bother looking at the long term gains to be had. I hope they are persuaded it's in his best interests to attend.

They’re right bleeping weirdos the way they keep their children isolated. When my daughter-in-law goes back to work her mum is looking after our grandson on the days either she or my son can‘t do it. They’re nurses so there will be days that they can, however they‘re looking at nurseries for him to go for maybe half a day or a day a week because he loves socialising with the other babies and children at the little groups he goes to.
If Flo goes to nursery they can’t film her, that’s why they won‘t do it. No one wants to watch a fat, middle age, camp man going for a walk in the woods or on the beach. He’s hoping if he takes Flo the minions won’t completely desert him.

My son was so bad his play school contacted his infants school to say he’d need support as brain damaged and very delayed clearly autistic but went to mainstream schools with support and now an adult says it was the best thing for him. Why? Because we weren’t bloody negative about school, education and teachers. Zoe is constantly putting all her weird hang ups on those kids and denying them normality. Of course Joseph will hate school, cos she’s told him he will.

Wonder if the neighbours have been complaining about how they park. What’s going to happen once the older ones pass their test where are they going to park. Thinks that’s why they want to turn the front garden into a driveway. I have a neighbour that is renting from council and she has just had her pavement lowered and driveway put in and she said she had to wait ages to get permission and then said it was costly. She’s disabled and didn’t get it for free.
