The thing is, Charlie is an influencer because she does reviews and posts aff links and gets sent all over with brands. It doesn’t matter if she wears crew or running socks, SB or lulu, she’s an influencer because her posts are full of links and pr/ad.

I won’t wear crew socks because my legs look like trees trunks at the best of times but I’ve been wearing SB for over 12 years (via Vinted now though ).

She can claim what she likes but while she has the carbon footprint of a small country (at the expense of all these brands) she is a normal influencer. They are all horrific consumers and their cognitive dissonance is off the scale.

oh no she's definitely an influencer I agree!! One of the worst as she does so little for the running community and as you say her carbon footprint is disgusting!!
 
This was my favourite comment. She works full time? Yes, in the same way that FTT and Kelly work full time 🙄. She literally said she works one day a week, how does that translate to working full time?

I don’t know runtothefinish but it looks like she’s one of Beans’ American influencer echo chamber mates? Hope the rest of the commenters on that post see the light and come and join us over here…👋

She’s an annoying American runfluencer.

I always think of this when Charlie tries to be relatable. She works one day a week yet seems to have an array of full time childcare arrangements, travels the world solo every other week, and can’t be bothered to spend her mom’s birthday with her (yet has no problem trying to gain sympathy for her mom’s health problem).

Goes on an Adidas sponsored trip, a week later begs for the latest New Balance Model… same with Liz Newcomer. A day after coming back from the Algarve talks about meeting someone from Nike marketing….

Followed by another post about how she doesn’t get as many collabs since she became a mum. Really?
 
She looks AWFUL! I hate all her running clothes too. She dresses like someone in their 70s, literally. Like my mum. Really aging and uncool. Those shoes she was wearing at the garden centre 😳😳
